MJ vs LeBron debates are tedious
@Matt_OD
CPA Cowboys, Lakers, Yankees, Duke BBall, Notre Dame FB. Jk, I pray no one is that big an asshole (besides the CPA part. I did pass all 4 parts of the Exam).

@rgcantelmo @notgaetti Niekro didn't walk as many guys.
English

@notgaetti Phil Niekro has a lifetime WAR 13 points higher than Nolan Ryan. 😳
English

MORE conclusive proof that using WAR is reckless and irresponsible:
Harold Baines v. Gene Tenace
Hits: Baines by 1,806
Runs: Baines by 646
ASG: Baines by 5
RBI: Baines by 954
HR: Baines by 183
2B: Baines by 309
BA: Baines by 48
WAR: Tenace by 8.0 (???)
Not Gaetti@notgaetti
I stan both of These Men HOWEVER, here’s conclusive proof that WAR over-values walks/OBP: Hits: Baines by 767 Runs: Baines by 111 ASG: Baines by 5 RBI: Baines by 555 HR: Baines by 109 2B: Baines by 128 BA: Baines by 22 WAR: Downing by 12.7 (???)
English

@mrwalkerb @keithlaw Napoleon was born 8/15/1769. Died 5/5/1821. My parents got married 8/14/1976. I remember talking to my mom 20 years ago and saying u couldn't wait a day!!!! Yeah, she didn't really care about what I had to say here.
English

@Bigboypantsgolf Low golf scores are so boring to me. I want to see guys grind and get punished for bad shots. I'm guessing there are courses Rory can drive to the green. Honestly I'm guessing in Rory had a driver, a wedge, and a putter. He could shoot a 65 at most courses.
English

@TheNBACentral Can we please have a day off from what Dame wants or doesn't want? I understand I don't have to follow certain accounts, but I don't feel like unfollowing 100 accounts and adding then back.
English

@podoffame 32.4 WAR, no where close to HoF. Graig Nettles is a 68 WAR and never sniffed the HoF. Nettles was way better than Ramirez
English

@AndrewKirbyGolf @Bigboypantsgolf Lots of people owe people apologies on this app.

Lots of apologies owing on #golftwitter
Especially to @Bigboypantsgolf
USGA admits to incorrect relief measurement with Rory McIlroy in final round of U.S. Open - Sports Illustrated Golf: News, Scores, Equipment, Instruction, Travel, Courses si.com/golf/news/usga…
English

@notgaetti @GowagsKyle This proves nothing. First, positional difference is same as overall difference, as Downing had nearly 5500 innings behind the plate. Baines also had nearly 1700 more runners on base for PA, and played in better offensive era, and played longer, so totals should be higher...
English

@notgaetti @GowagsKyle If Downing was good at C that makes sense to me.
English

@HighHeatStats Guys admitted by the veterans committee are omitted by me. For me it is Jim Rice 1. Rice is the same player as Jose Canseco. Each won an MVP, JC a WS FWIW. JR 47.7 WAR, JC 42.4 WAR 462 HR. David Ortiz 2. How in the fuck is DO in and not Barry Bonds? B is the greatest player ever
English

@Bigboypantsgolf @BobHarig A lot of people owe u an apology. F all of them.
English

USGA admits to incorrect relief measurement with Rory McIlroy in final round of U.S. Open - Sports Illustrated Golf: News, Scores, Equipment, Instruction, Travel, Courses. @BobHarig I already broke this story. Oops. si.com/golf/news/usga…
English

ATTN: @BobHarig and @ReillyRick
No need for a formal written apology. You can save the trees and tweet it out instead.
LIV Golf Nation knows the rules of golf better than the corrupt golf media, FACT.

@NBA_University ATL, we all could have guessed that
English

@notgaetti From 1990 to 2007 Barry Bonds average obp was .467 with a .647 slug and he ain't in the HoF.
English

@baseballtwit @notgaetti Keith Law says that is the best pitching performance ever.
English

@SeventiesCard @dr_huffer @notgaetti This will be an opinion no one agrees with. Graig Nettles has a way better HoF case than Jim Rice. Rice higher peak granted. Nettles 68 WAR, Rice 46. Rice won an MVP. Nettles was the NYY enforcer on 2 WS teams
English

This is — and I can’t stress it enough — ABSOLUTELY true
The Twins Almanac@TwinsAlmanac
I don’t care about OPS, WAR, and all that; if a player hits .400 for the first time since Ted Williams in 1941, that’s automatically your league MVP.
English

@dr_huffer @SeventiesCard @notgaetti If I'm not mistaken 1 voter didn't vote for Williams at all(similar to Mark Jackson with Jokic) and that was the difference.
English

@Matt_OD @SeventiesCard @notgaetti My favorite tidbit about that season is that during Joe D's 56-game hit streak, Williams had a higher batting average and OPS
