If you haven’t watched @JeremyDBoreing Memorial Day episode called The War on Terror Was Not Fake you have to. Of course, I have to issue a caveat because if you are not interested in the truth and are only interested in narrative shaping, agitprop, victimhood audience capture then you won’t like this because it will do none of those things. I wanted to clip so many different pieces of the podcast that I literally ended up clipping none of them because I would clip the entire episode from the first minute to the very last. It has to be one of the most important things that people should listen to right now for where we are in the country. If you’re actually an open-minded person, and your goal is to arrive at the truth and figure out how to understand what’s happening in America so that you can make informed decisions you should watch this episode. Nuance and actual policy and political commentary that is insightful is so rare right now that when you actually listen to some, it’s amazing.

This is untrue. I was against regime change. I was against a fevered march into war pushed by the neocons. But I also said if Trump decides to act to stop Iranian nuclear program, then I would have his back because he's earned my trust. One of the biggest misconceptions people have about God is that if He doesn't judge immediately, He must be approving of what's happening. Scripture teaches the opposite. •God warned Noah before the flood. 
•He warned Pharaoh repeatedly before Egypt fell. 
•He sent Jonah to Nineveh before judgment came. 
•He sent prophet after prophet to Israel before exile. Why? Because God's patience is meant to lead people to repentance. "Do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God's kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?" (Romans 2:4) And! "The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise...He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." (2 Peter 3:9) But Scripture ALSO warns that delayed judgment should NEVER be mistaken for divine approval: "Because the sentence against an evil deed is not executed speedily, the heart of the children of man is fully set to do evil." (Ecclesiastes 8:11) God's patience is mercy, and it should not be misinterpreted as endorsement. His silence is often an opportunity to repent, not permission to continue. Time and time again in the Bible you see God give a warning, show mercy, give time to turn back and then, eventually, JUSTICE.
