If the goal in Hypertrophy is to train to reps near failure Wouldn’t it make most sense to start closer to failure by simply using heavier weights for less reps per set? More mechanical tension Less wasted reps

If you need to warm up before you can sprint, that's a warning. Animals in the wild don't warm up. A gazelle hits top speed in a fraction of a second, or it dies. That's the biological standard. The fact that you need 10 minutes of jogging and stretching before your body can handle intensity means your visceral fat has already compromised your tissues.

"We are spraying an extra load of Glyphosate on plants right before we EAT THEM...it's INSANE." ~Tom Renz "In the U.S., glyphosate isn’t just used to kill weeds. It’s also used as a desiccant—sprayed on crops like wheat, beans & sugarcane right before harvest to dry them out faster." Let that sink in. That means an extra round of spraying right before those crops become: • Your bread • Your pasta • Your cereal • Your beans • Your sugar How did this become normalized??

OMG! This is like a timeshare for a Farm. I see great potential in this idea, even if only done on a smaller scale. Take a look and share your thoughts in the comments. I don't know about y'all but this is what you call a GROWcery store. #Inspirenaire

How do you feel about lamb aka land salmon? With the price of beef escalating the way it is, this lady makes a really good pitch for sheep/lamb. Sheep can feed your family faster, easier and cheaper than any other livestock. They don't need expensive grain. They do just fine on grass and weeds. Lamb can be eaten at 6 months. Cows take 1.5 years. Twice the offspring as cows. Easier to manage. Source: bigskyranchess (IG)

In the original The Fly (1958), the Fly's monster suit was pretty basic. He was repulsive. But in Return of the Fly (1959) they really doubled down, with an amazing oversize fly head. It bugged me as a kid that the exact same two body parts got swapped - head & left arm. Because why? Then when they did Curse of the Fly (1965) they didn't have a fly at all. It was all about the horrors of teleportation. I recommend it.

After decades of watching spaceship movies, and all the trouble they get into, from space amoebas to Ming the Merciless to black hole storms, I have no confidence in my ability to survive as ccmmander of a starship. Therefore I offer this challenge instead - who do you wish to captain the starship you’re on. Kirk? Admiral Akbar? Malcolm Reynolds?
ToyBaller@BallerToy1327

I know this argument is as old as the hills, but what ship would you want to captain? Millennium Falcon is the coolest ship, but I like luxury and would pick USS Voyager of #StarTrekVoyager

Genuinely curious How does someone bloody their shins from deadlifts? Is it normal? Or sign of a needed adjustment? 👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼

The greatest movie fight is from the Chinese film "The Thousand Year Cat". It is between a dead cat possessed by the soul of an alien general, and a Chinese Mastiff which has been bred for 100 generations to be the perfect dog. The cat and dog have a kung-fu fight in a junkyard, flinging each other around the cars. It's the best 10 minutes of film I've ever seen. The Thousand Year Cat is not, emphasize not, a comedy. Also it has a claymation Lovecraftian horror monster as the main villain. You can rent it on Amazon or apple TV but really you should buy the DVD because it's astonishing. If you do, let me know how you like the scene of the cute alien space princess dancing in the stars while she levitates. Man The Thousand Year Cat has EVERYTHING.
