BREAKING: Cuba has acquired more than 300 military drones and has begun discussing plans to attack the US base at Guantanamo Bay, US military vessels, and possibly Key West, Florida, per Axios.
Details include:
1. The threat is being described as potential "pretext for US military action"
2. CIA Director John Ratcliffe traveled to Cuba on Thursday and warned officials against engaging in hostilities
3. More US sanctions against Cuba could be announced this week
4. US intelligence says Cuba has been acquiring attack drones of "varying capabilities" from Russia and Iran since 2023

Breaking: US President Donald Trump announces that US-Nigerian forces conducted a "complex mission" to assassinate senior ISWAP leader "Abu Bilal al-Mainuki". Trump appears to be very poorly informed as al-Mainuki is the second-in-command of ISWAP, not IS global, secondly he seems to think he is not African because he is "hiding in Africa", Abu Bilal (aka Abu Ali as well) is from the town of Mainuk in Borno State. Nevertheless this is likely the most significant loss of leadership from jihadists in Nigeria since the death of Shekau, Abu Ali al-Mainuki was a very close associate to Abu Musab al-Barnawi and at some point was believed to be governor of the Libya province, along with being the head of the al-Furqan office which oversees the Sahel, Libya and West Africa provinces.

It came home having cycled through Venezuelan tensions, Red Sea operations, and the Iran war. Every one of the world's current crises is on that ship's logbook. Absolute unit. Hegseth was on the pier at Norfolk today to welcome the Gerald R. Ford strike group home.

For 20 years, a $6 knob that takes one hour to 3D print has been grounding Black Hawk helicopters four times a month, and the contractor responsible won't sell us the part or the IP rights to fix it ourselves.
So instead, American taxpayers have been paying $40,000 every single time to replace the entire system, multiplied by four times a month, for two decades.
That is NOT a procurement problem, that is a shakedown, and it is exactly why right to repair has to be in this year's NDAA.
