@noahqk But 50MW at a time, in a world where building gas pipelines is almost illegal, and there is strong demand growth blowing out timeline and cost for gas equipment…… there’s a path there, but it’s narrow.

@noahqk For me it’s biggest strategic challenge is that the places that have deep expertise in drilling/fracturing ops and relatively permissive regulatory treatment of same, are also the places where gas is super cheap (not a coincidence)

Random thought about Fervo that you should mostly ignore because I’m not a geothermal expert: this technology is super exciting but only if policies in our country drastically shift to value the attributes of continuous carbon-free power. Otherwise we have natural gas.
