@Izen @Ends_wolf @StefanMolyneux The problem is that just gives you infinite regression where the question of where that came from remains. The best we can do is kick the can down the road, but existence itself doesn't really make sense. It's either something from nothing or some kind of eternal infinity.

The Iranian people are victims of their government. So are the American people. Taking sides with either government doesn't remedy that.

Free people make different choices. Different choices lead to different outcomes. Therefore free people can’t be equal.

@Rerazer Another cat has been herded. Very interesting conversation with Michael Haupt (and I didn't delete it or f up the audio this time). I know you've reached out to Michael too (who has now responded) so hope you speak with him soon. I sense some synergistic potential rising

I’m politically homeless. My true feelings are they are all corrupt. There are no party lines - only patriots and tyrants.

One of the main problems in the world: People are insane enougn to try and give more power to the same systems and groups which dispossessed them. Fire does not fight fire it just adds to it. This point is lost on the socialist.

Tyrants around the world threaten people's life, liberty, and property rights. The counter inoculation is property rights, free speech, and free market capitalism.

Freedom and liberty should be the common ground, it is what can unite us. This is why libertarians don’t fit neatly into left or right. They’re trying to apply a consistent principle. If you are pro-freedom you align with the left on opposing stupid wars, defending civil liberties and opposing the prison industrial complex. If you are pro-freedom you align with right on free markets, sound money, property rights, low tax and limiting the size of government. The problem is both sides abandon freedom when it becomes inconvenient. If you are confused on your position, ask yourself if it progresses freedom or restricts it, if it’s the latter you are likely on the wrong side of history. If you actually believe in freedom, it has to be applied consistently. Happy Friday, off for a freedom beer.

@DeepAnalysls @A_refusenik I appreciate what you're saying but I think there's an important distinction between rights violating and rights protecting force. Enforcing defensive laws (protecting rights) doesn't require ruling authority. The right to protect ourselves and each other comes from selfownership

@MatthewtrueI @A_refusenik I’m not saying it should be this way. I’m saying any system that actually functions at scale ends up this way. You can call it ‘rights protecting’ instead of ‘rights-violating,’ but the moment you enforce anything, you’ve created a coordinating authority.

@DeepAnalysls @A_refusenik I'm describing what should and could exist. You're describing what does exist but you also seem to be asserting that it can only be this way, correct me if I am wrong. I'm saying it doesn't have to be and rights violating force can be replaced with rights protecting force.

@MatthewtrueI @A_refusenik You’re arguing what should exist. I’m describing what does exist. In any system, coordination and control concentrate somewhere. It’s a structural outcome, not a moral choice. Sorry, I didn’t make this rule. Ashby’s Law of Requisite Variety did.

@A_refusenik There will always be a ruling class. In a collapse scenario, it might be a band of highly armed locals deciding what happens next. Remove one control structure and another emerges to stabilize the system. Power fills the vacuum.
