@JackPosobiec It’s peak 90’s but I still to this day can’t get past the whole “load a human made computer virus into an alien ship” thing.

@MattWalshBlog Honestly don't get this take. Newborns just eat, poop, and sleep. It's as easy as it gets. The problems you get into once the kids are older are far more complex.

I have kids ranging from toddlers to teenagers and I still think the newborn phase (especially for a first time parent) is the hardest by far. I remember being a younger parent and hearing older parents constantly whine about how much harder it gets. Turns out they were exaggerating for attention and pity. Parenting gets A LOT easier over time. Your kids get more mature and so do you. That’s how it should work if you’re doing it right anyway.

@reason Your quarrel isn’t with the Party, it’s with the human beings who drove to polling places and cast a ballot ousting him because he didn’t adequately represent them.

@shipwreckedcrew So much of the discourse from the Libertarian/Free Speech absolutist crowd is pretending not to understand that the Constitution establishes a clear framework for creating laws, and allows the govt to enforce them at gunpoint if need be.

@PaulTassi Not sure how Marathon would feel any "wrath". They've got their own (small) dedicated playerbase.

@MattWalshBlog Came to this conclusion years ago. 99% of what you see as a tourist isn't really the culture...no matter how far off the beaten path you think you are going.

This kind of “traveling” is overrated. Tourist destinations are all the same. A resort in Florida is like a resort anywhere else. These kinds of people think they’ve “seen the world” but they’ve seen less of the world than someone who reads books instead.

@PaulTassi @kylerridesagain Well, FWIW I’ve been reading your articles since the D1 days (if memory serves). You are a smart guy. Adapt. Overcome. Oh, and own things…because that’s how you get ahead in the new economy.

@AnCastel_ I am on my third Warframe try at this point, I just can't do it. I do really like it but it just feels too overwhelming at this point to really dive deep in (as I'm sure many feel/felt about Destiny)

I do feel like this a lot. Some of it may be my outlook changing, but I miss when Destiny was a game I *could* do all of that stuff with. It’s just a void now 90% of the time As a PvP game Marathon just isn’t gonna fill that gap more than occasionally. Games like Crimson are rare and obviously can’t last too long. But yeah regardless nothing is going to beat prime Destiny for that feeling and type of content, I fear

@cdrsalamander @johnkonrad Sobering to see how many folks bite off on the ‘term limits’ bait. The failure of the constitution to deal with citizenship is basically like fatal flaw designed in the Death Star but folks in that thread are talking about term limits and balanced budgets. 🤦‍♂️

@Ike_Saul @howard_wemple Wild. All of these cases minus one never saw the light of day. This isn’t really making your case. In fact, the strongest argument for fraud is the overwhelming incentive to commit it + a voting system that is not verifiable.

It has been six years. Every single "stolen election" theory — from 2,000 Mules to servers in Italy to Georgia suitcases — has been debunked, crushed in court, painstakingly explained, and none of these guys ever have the goods cause it's all nonsense to please POTUS. It's embarrassing for Bartiromo that she is still giving this airtime, and anyone who still falls for this chasing the next new reveal needs to get away from their computer.
Aaron Rupar@atrupar

BARTIROMO: So you believe there will be a definitive answer as to whether the 2020 election was stolen? TODD BLANCHE: We're looking at it and we hope to get one

@AndrewKolvet MAGA really did turn politics into reality TV fandom. Celebrity drama, memes, “main characters,” catchphrases, merch, loyalty tests… half this stuff feels closer to WWE than actual governing.

@MKnowlesShow @michaeljknowles Too bad it's a false-analogy fallacy. Celebrating a behavioral improvement driven by policy and culture is not logically comparable to a drop in allergies caused by the nuclear destruction of a city. Try again.

@PaulTassi Watched the trailer, and I think I get the hate. Having grown up in the 80's and early 90's....the vibe on this is so off. That's 1986-87. Peak 80's. None of what was shown had any of the sensibility of the 90's. The devs seem not to understand the "source" material.
