Reform MSP for the Highlands and Islands 🏴🇬🇧

Thrilled to announce that James Graham has joined Reform UK as Policy Adviser. James comes to us from the Prosperity Institute, where he established himself as one of the most incisive analysts of financial regulation. He has a strikingly broad range of policy interests and his record speaks for itself. His recent paper - “The Death of the Fiduciary Duty” - set out the definitive case for restoring shareholder primacy and reforming s172 of the Companies Act. His work on the Local Government Pension Scheme exposed how £450 billion of working people’s retirement savings has been quietly diverted into political projects rather than maximising returns. He has been pivotal in the public campaign against debanking and he is a penetrating critic of the FCA’s drift into activism. Born and raised in Northern Ireland, James brings a sharp understanding of the economic challenges it’s facing and a deep commitment to the Union. We’re delighted to have him on the policy team.

A re-elected SNP government will introduce a Private Jet Tax and a Mansion Tax on homes worth over £1 million, making the wealthiest pay more to help support local services across Scotland. Make it #BothVotesSNP on May 7 for a government that’s on your side.
