No Southampton, Burnley or Sheffield United in the Prem next season 🤩

@hannibalbfc Embarrassing is a reflection of the campaign. The recruitment, the coaching, the on field performances.
English

@MaxOfTheNorth really don’t think 1-0 in our current state is embarrassing pal no one had any expectations
English

You’ll read positivity around that performance. Truth is it was utter garbage. Could not lay a glove on Arsenal. Embarrassing.

@AviationguyAndy Not a shot on target. League one teams in the cup would do better. They were always going to be nervy with what was at stake. I’m judging us. Pathetic effort.
English

@MaxOfTheNorth Far from it! We have given a Champions League finalist team and almost certainly title winners one of the toughest home games of their season! The Arsenal fans would have been expecting to start the party at half time but we made them sweat for 99 minutes!
English

@TheJoeySwoll This old man is just trying to get a better look at the woman. How is this the culture we need in any way? Neither of them is like a normal person reacting the way real people do either. Very fake
English

@ParkersCardigan @AlanPaceBFC A watershed moment. I wasnt overly excited about the prospect of the Prem under Parker but the noise from the club after the traditional celebration…it turned me. 15+ years ST done with. Not going again now I’m out of the routine. BFC lost £1000’s and it traces back to this.
English

This is how you celebrate promotion to the premier league @AlanPaceBFC
❌No threats
❌No bans
❌No wanky tannoy announcements
❌No chains of stewards
Just fans enjoying themselves, creating memories
As it should be
If you ever get us up again, don’t ruin it

IPSWICH TOWN ARE HEADED BACK TO THE PREMIER LEAGUE 🚜

@ryan_murton I’d be disappointed, but as I’ve said a loads , I didn’t renew this yr. I’ve still managed to watch the games and see my prediction play out. Relegation meh. It’s the long term impact you need to buckle up for. Current prediction is we don’t bounce back. That could be terminal.
English

Serious question time…
It’s announced that Scott Parker is staying next season.
That may also come with a contract extension.
How would you honestly feel?
And how would it impact you next season?

@logicalclaret I’ve got your back Logi. Last night was a lot to digest but remember City are one of the world’s best teams. It was a work night and also broadcast on fire stick, which explains the crowd. Majority still behind Parker. We saw the performance. It’s clicking.
English

Perhaps the players enjoyed not having all the entitled, moaning twats in the ground last night? Looked like it

@Chris_Wilson6 I think if we asked your dog he/she would also admire Parker. His cardigans are well suited for long walks and he is used to issuing simple commands (working with the likes of Anthony and Ekdal).
English

@MaxOfTheNorth Not me personally, but I think my dog does, yes
English

Few takings from this - censored down due to Starmer’s Britain
She says we have a young squad - it’s actually one of the oldest in the league on average age
Scott Parker is a terrific coach - won 13 games in 86 in the PL

@BradleyM_YT @TurfMoorLoyal Fans being threatened with Police action for briefly partaking in the age old custom of running on the pitch to celebrate a momentous occasion, as many other fanbases do.
English

4 managers, 3 relegations, 50+ players signed, Local workers sacked, Club colours changed, badge changed, no consultation on the changing of the badge, fans disconnected from the club, fans in cricket field changed around
Anymore needed to be added on??

Good news is, having kept it respectable against one of the best teams in the world, we walk the Championship next season. Parker has the backing of the lads. Tempted to get a #twitterclarets ticket again.

@100kDiary Depends... if you have the money and want mental satisfaction then worth it... any 5000£ car would need annually 1200 to 2000 to repair/maintenance/MOT pass.... overall 200 to 250 per month including insurance over a 5 year period...after 5 yr assuming car price goes to zero
English

Unpopular opinion: Leasing a brand new car is the most financially illiterate thing normalised in the UK.
You're paying £500/month for something that loses 40% of its value by the time you hand it back. Then you sign up for another one.
A £5,000 used car does the exact same job. Gets you from A to B. Doesn't care about your ego.
The difference over 10 years? Roughly £60k.
Your car isn't a flex. It's a monthly donation to a dealership.

@Matthigginson94 A manager that delivers the GREATEST season of football in most if not all fans living memory gets some grace.
English

Out of pure curiosity I wanted to compare this season to the VK season & to be honest the stats are almost identical and while I remember people asking should VK of been sacked that seasons was nowhere as toxic towards VK & the board my question is why not ? #twitterclarets

If you’re 18-30 in the UK right now this is the order of priority:
1️⃣ Emergency fund first
3 months expenses. Cash. Instant access. Don’t touch it.
2️⃣ Workplace pension match
Free money from your employer. Take every penny. Non negotiable.
3️⃣ Lifetime ISA
£4,000/year. Government adds £1,000 instantly. 25% return before you’ve invested a penny.
4️⃣ Stocks & Shares ISA
£20,000 allowance. Zero tax on gains. Ever. Buy a global index fund. Forget about it.
5️⃣ SIPP
Any extra? Pension contributions get 20-45% tax relief instantly.
In that exact order.
Every single year.
Most 18-30 year olds are doing none of this.
The ones who are will retire completely differently.
