Have the outraged people seen what Gaza has been turned into? What the West Bank is being turned into? The genocide is already happening. And it is not too late to stop it. **** Unlike others, I do see the way forward for Palestinians and Israelis, but it requires that as many Israelis as possible, right now, turn their gears toward saving Palestinian life. And do that every day until the monstruosity Israel is fully engaged with, is over.

He stayed to ensure the safety of his team and attempted to lead them out, but was met with aggression and ultimately arrested. Al-Boudi appealed to the world and human rights organizations to stand with Dr. Hussam, emphasizing his role in inspiring patience and resilience in North Gaza. Reminder, as "Universal Grammar" enters the discourse again, that the term is used to refer to several different things. The existence of UG is only in question in some of these uses, and as Chomsky defines the term in several places, its existence is not in question at all.

@langofmind Why the F are they training LLMs on solved problems like arithmetic? All this effort would be so much better invested in making the LLM able to use external classical computing resources like a calculator, but I guess that's too modularity-pilled for the Zeitgeist.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza has just published a 649-page document with the the name, age, gender, ID number of every Palestinian killed in Gaza from October 7 to August 31 that it has info for (over 34k out of 40k). The 1st 14 pages the age is listed as 0 (under 1 year old)
