BREAKING 🚨🚨 #Tustin / #California Early this morning, a fatal shooting occurred in the 13000 block of Tustin East Drive in Tustin, CA. Tustin PD responded to a 911 call of a report of shots fired around 5:22 am and discovered that a 35 yr old woman had been shot and killed. According to Orange County Supervisor @DonWagnerCA, the victim lived with an OCSD deputy. An initial report suggests that the deputy may have mistaken the victim, who was returning home after walking a dog for an intruder. In what appears at this time to have been a tragic accident, the deputy opened fire, fatally wounding the victim. The deputy, whose name has not been released, has been placed on paid administrative leave while the investigation continues. Neighbors in the area reported not hearing any gunshots that morning. The victim was an employee of the Orange County Health Care Agency, OC Health. She worked at the OC Jail in correctional health services. The name of the victim has been released, however out of respect I will not be sharing it at this time

You make $142,000 a year plus stipends, and your wife works too, meaning you together likely make well over $200,000. No matter which way you cut it: Zohran Mamdani is a rich person. You are actually very rich. Yet you and your wife pay $2,300 a month, as you have bragged, for a nice apartment in Astoria. That should be housing for someone who needs it. We are in the middle of a historic affordability crisis. Millions of low income New Yorkers need this apartment and an apartment like it. Yet your apartment remains rented to rich people who don’t need it. Today, I am calling on you to move out immediately and give your affordable housing back to an unhoused family who need it. Leaders must show moral clarity. Time to move out.
