@Sports_Doctor2 What is he still doing in that labour party? I thought he would follow Peter obi to NDC. To be frank, this man solid ooooo, well let's see if he would decamp before 2027 presidential election.

People are just withdrawing from contesting for Abia state Governorship race not because Alex Otti will snatch and run away with results but because they know he worked, he has covered every base, the people of Abia State will fight on his behalf!!!! The best form of campaign for re-election is working so much that no one can argue your impact in the lives of the people you’re leading!!!

I am deeply grateful for the trust President Trump placed in me and for the opportunity to lead @ODNIgov for the last year and a half. Unfortunately, I must submit my resignation, effective June 30, 2026. My husband, Abraham, has recently been diagnosed with an extremely rare form of bone cancer. He faces major challenges in the coming weeks and months. At this time, I must step away from public service to be by his side and fully support him through this battle.

After decades of leading and building the Silverbird Group across media, entertainment, hospitality, real estate, and strategic business development in Africa and the United Kingdom, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Roy Murray-Bruce as the new Chairman of Silverbird Group. Roy brings with him over four decades of leadership experience, vision, and governance expertise. As former President of Silverbird Group, he played a significant role in the expansion of our organisation across television, radio, cinemas, retail, and property development, while helping pioneer Cineplex culture in Nigeria and West Africa. Open Apology Letter to the Obidient Movement My Dear Obidient Family, I come before you today with a heavy heart, deep humility, and no excuses. Some time ago, in a moment of frustration and immaturity, I wrote and released a resignation letter as Director of Mobilization. In that letter, I allowed deep frustration & personal emotions to cloud my judgment. I made statements that subtly and unnecessarily dragged Peter Obi, a man I still respect for his vision, integrity, and sacrifice for this nation. That was wrong. It was childish, and beneath the standard I should have upheld, especially as someone who once held a leadership position in this movement. I take full responsibility. No one forced me to write it. No one edited it. It came from me, and it was a mistake. I deleted the letter afterwards, but I know deletion does not erase the damage, the disappointment, or the loss of trust many of you felt. I understand why some of you no longer respect me the way you once did. You had every right to feel let down. To Peter Obi himself (fondly called PO): Sir, I am sincerely sorry. My words were not a true reflection of the values of sacrifice, accountability, and constructive criticism that you preach. I failed in that moment. To every single Obidient, the ones who stayed grinding, the ones who defended the vision even when it was tough, the ones who felt betrayed by my actions, I am deeply sorry. You are the real heroes of this movement. Many of you are young people full of hope and fire for a better Nigeria. You didn’t deserve to see internal cracks turned into public drama. I let you down. I am not writing this because I want something or a position in the movement as I’m enjoying private life. I am writing it because it is the right thing to do. Leadership is not only about when the road is sweet and smooth; it is also about owning up when you mess up. I own this fully. I am committed to rebuilding trust through consistent actions, not just words. But I also know trust is not demanded, it is earned back slowly, if at all. Thank you for reading this. Whether you accept my apology or not, I respect your feelings and your right to hold me accountable. The love I have for a better Nigeria has not changed. You all know me. My respect for the Obidient spirit remains. I am sorry truly. With humility and hope for forgiveness, Your brother in this struggle, Morris Monye. Oya come let’s hug. 😊

@ruffydfire @MrKeni2 The worst mistake Fubara made was fighting wike that early. He would have tried to get at least ⅓ of the house to his side before fighting wike and the 2nd fatal mistake that nailed him is joining APC. He would have left PDP and join any party the masses are in good terms with.

My heart is deeply heavy over the painful killings and abductions happening in Oyo State and across different parts of Nigeria. As someone with strong ties to Oyo State through family, culture and love for the people, this tragedy feels very personal to me. It is heartbreaking to see innocent lives lost, families thrown into mourning, children living in fear and communities traumatized by violence. I mourn especially with the families of the victims, the parents whose children were taken, and everyone affected by the recent attacks in Oriire Local Government and other parts of the state. No Nigerian deserves to live in fear. No child should be afraid to go to school. No family should wake up to news of violence and bloodshed. I want to sincerely commend the efforts of the security agencies and the Oyo State Government but it is important to appeal for more urgent and decisive actions to secure the release of those still in captivity and strengthen the protection of lives and communities. And please, what is the state government doing to prevent future occurrence? Nigeria belongs to all of us, and this is a time for unity, compassion and collective responsibility. We cannot normalize violence. We must continue to speak up, support one another and pray for peace to return to our land. May God comfort every grieving family, heal our nation and protect every innocent life. Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi

This is disheartening. Why do the FG allow these evil people to roam free and terrorize Nigerians like this? With all the resources we have?

Being ahead of the game and always proactive over security, on the 11th of March 2026, i PIDOM warned that those terrorists killing and kidnapping in Kogi, Kwara, and ondo state are targeting to enter Oyo state. That Oyo state is their main target. Because from Oyo state, they will easily overrun the entire Southwest with terrorism and kidnappings. A follower @seunibk01 tagged various Oyo state Government handles to my post. He asked them to please act fast. Surprisingly, Oyo state Government feedback handle @FeedbackOYSG replied to my post, tagged me and assured me that security agencies are on high alert to secure the state. It breaks my heat to hear the kidnap of 39 innocent pupils and 7 teachers in Oyo state by daredevil terrorists. They even beheaded an innocent teachers. This is not time for politics my brothers and sisters from the Southwest. Terror is in your land. You all must speak up in condemnation. Show this post today to a yoruba person. Show this post to anyone who resides in the Southwest. Terror is coming faster into their land than they can ever imagine. They have gotten into the entry point i warned against. We all must shun our dirty politics of tribal sentiments and act. It might be too late, and i fear for the worst. Lagos is their ultimate goal, and they are few steps closer than we think.

Let it be known today that those terrorists killing and kidnapping people in Kogi, Kwara, and Ondo state have just one mission. Their real mission is to penetrate fully into Oyo state. If the southwest don't look beyond tribe and politics, it might be too late. Oyo is the target

Peter Obi was cleared as sole presidential aspirant; No votes by delegates, nothing. So are we to believe that there's no other contestant in the party? Why wasn't the primaries held to decide who goes? I mean, that shouldn't have been a problem since the NDC claims to be a party that's all about credible politicians, and the fear of unfair primaries was why he left the ADC, and the PDP to begin with. You want democracy, but then want to be handpicked. Laughable.
