Personally very sad about this. Haven’t missed a Grammy week in god knows how many years. But it’s about the LA/music biz community for me—getting to see those 100s of folks who don’t go to the show but show up at events. Can’t imagine a lot of them will be in Vegas?

Yes, to be clear, I'm not back to masks because I'm afraid I'll die in the short term. I'm back to masks (indoors) because I don't want to give Covid to someone who might die. And I don't want to take chances with the highly unclear science of longterm Covid effects.

As someone who has made a career of spotting meaningful trends early, the past week or so of covid cases breaking through the vaccine are very alarming. It feels like national news and the CDC haven't connected the dots from local news yet. I fear it's about to get ugly again.
