Railways have a favourite child and it's not the one providing highest tax CG cancelled Pune Nashik SHSR (now giving a lolipop of absurd route) which was in talks since 2018 CG has not only approved Ahmd Dholera SHSR but even called for tenders ( so much speed)

केंद्रीय रेल्वे मंत्रालयाची महाराष्ट्राला सावत्र वागणूक ! महाराष्ट्राच्या उद्योग, शिक्षण, कृषी आणि रोजगार क्षेत्राला गती देण्याची क्षमता असलेला पुणे - नाशिक सरळमार्गे रेल्वे (नाशिक - सिन्नर - संगमनेर - नारायणगाव - राजगुरुनगर - चाकण - पुणे) हा प्रकल्प साकारण्यासाठी या भागातील जनतेने मोठा संघर्ष केला आहे. या संघर्षातूनच 2018 मध्ये या प्रकल्पाला मान्यता मिळाली. आता पुणे - नाशिक रेल्वे होणार, भारतातील पहिला “सेमी हायस्पीड” रेल्वे कॉरिडॉर म्हणून पुणे-नाशिक रेल्वेची इतिहासात नोंद होणार या केवळ कल्पनेनेच पुणे, नाशिक व नगर जिल्ह्यातील कोट्यावधी नागरिक आनंदले. परंतू, केंद्रीय रेल्वे मंत्रालयाच्या अवकृपेने हा आनंद जास्त काळ टिकला नाही. अगदी या प्रकल्पासाठी शेतकऱ्यांनी आपल्या जमिनी दिल्यानंतर अचानक केंद्रीय रेल्वे मंत्रालयाने फतवा काढला "आता मार्ग बदलणार" ! एका क्षणात कोट्यावती नागरिकांचे स्वप्न केंद्रीय रेल्वे मंत्रालयाने उध्वस्त केले. त्यातच आता पुणे - नाशिक रेल्वेला डावलून गुजरातमधील अहमदाबाद-धोलेरा रेल्वे मार्गाला “भारतातील पहिला सेमी हायस्पीड रेल्वे मार्ग” म्हणून प्राधान्य दिलं जात आहे. याचा अर्थ पुणे - नाशिक रेल्वे प्रकल्प आता रेल्वे मंत्रालयाने बसत्यात गुंडाळला आहे का ? पुणे - नाशिक सेमी हायस्पीड रेल्वेच्या माध्यमातून येणारा विकास हा आमचा हक्क आहे. आता रस्त्यावर उतरून संघर्ष करण्याशिवाय आमच्याकडे दुसरा मार्ग नाही ! #Pune #Nashik #SemiHighSpeed #Railway #Manchar #Narayangaon #Sanagamner #Akole #Sinnar #Chakan @AshwiniVaishnaw @RailMinIndia @Dev_Fadnavis @mieknathshinde @SunetraA_Pawar @kolhe_amol @bhausaheb_w904 @RajabhauW @ShivajiAdhalrao @mlasharadsonwne @amolkhatalpatil @mibabajikale @KokateManikrao

@ThaneTraffic Bigger vehicles like trucks, buses and JCB/Cranes use road nearby thakurli station. Do you think they should be allowed on such a narrow road causing traffic and accidents? Isn't it better to setup height barrier on entries and let them use road via Gharda circle?
