@zwidenyapT Be proud they want to support the locals, but why can't locals provide these goods and services so they don't have to work long distances.

@CryZitha1 @joseph_kalimbwe You think we just left without exhausting solutions like voting against the old man, demonstrating in the street and and seeing our colleagues dying without recourse? We've seen our votes stolen with the support of our host country's leaders, who continue to deny the crisis.

@cozwva If he did not tell Mnangagwa to fix the economy and take his people, he has been wasting his time and just another disappointment. Zimbabweans are alone in their fight to return to a working economy.

@jackson_rem @daddyhope smugglers in the Zim delegation and under investigation from anti-money laundering and anti-smuggling laws of SA. Your ruling party refused to support the DA when it called for action against election results thieving and trampling of all kind of rights.

The so called clever Zimbabweans and their advocates are very interesting. On social media, podcasts and TV shows, NGOs, their voices in South Africa are the loudest. Yet when in comes to Zimbabwe their silence is like the graveyard. Their political, social, human and economic rights are being eroded and trampled upon every day while they continue being obsessed with South African affairs

@Shumbapazvese51 Would that be possible with Chinese mining all over the country destroying waterways through siltation, uncontrolled chemical waste dumping, and no land rehabilitation efforts? Agriculture is not a stand-alone entity, depending on the good environmental practices.

*HON. TSITSI GEZI CHALLENGES FARMERS TO EMBRACE CLIMATE-SMART AGRICULTURE AT RUSHINGA AGRICULTURAL SHOW* 11July 2026 Hon. Tsitsi Gezi, the Mashonaland Central Provincial Chairlady and Deputy Speaker of Parliament, yesterday graced the Rushinga District Agricultural Show held at Chimhanda Primary School, as the Guest of honour, where she applauded farmers, women and learners for embracing agriculture as a pathway to economic empowerment and national development. Addressing hundreds of exhibitors and community members, Hon. Gezi urged women to remain productive and continue taking a leading role in agriculture. _"An empowered woman builds an empowered family. When women engage in productive farming, they put food on the table, create income for their households and help build peaceful communities."_ She encouraged farmers to focus on climate-smart agriculture, particularly the production of drought-tolerant small grains suitable for Rushinga's climatic conditions. _"Let us embrace crops that suit our environment. Small grains are the future of food security in regions that receive low rainfall, and every farmer has a role to play in ensuring that no family goes hungry."_ Hon. Gezi commended learners from participating schools for demonstrating exceptional innovation under the *Education 5.0 programme,* describing them as Zimbabwe's future agricultural leaders. _"Today's learners are not just preparing for examinations; they are preparing to become innovators, entrepreneurs and employers. The future of Zimbabwe's agriculture is in safe hands."_ She also paid tribute to teachers for nurturing practical skills among learners. _"When we equip our children with practical agricultural knowledge, we are building a generation that chooses productivity over drug and substance abuse, idleness and early marriages."_ Hon. Gezi further thanked His Excellency *President Dr. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa* for championing rural development through strategic infrastructure projects, particularly the construction of Semwa Dam. _"If Rushinga's farmers can produce this much without fully utilising irrigation, imagine what they will achieve once Semwa Dam is fully operational. This investment will transform livelihoods, strengthen food security and contribute significantly to the nation's agricultural production."_ She concluded by urging communities to continue embracing agriculture, innovation and value addition as key drivers of sustainable rural development. _"Agriculture is not just about feeding our families—it is about creating wealth, creating jobs and building a prosperous Zimbabwe. Let us continue working together for Vision 2030."_ #CommunityEngagement #CommunityEmpowerment #DevelopmentPolitics #Vision2030 @dereckgoto @DumisoJnr22247 @marapira_farai @ChinamasaPA @MairosiWatungwa

@ChambatiLevison @Keir_Starmer The UK PM followed the dictates of his country's constitution, and the unelectable Mnangagwa is clinging to power through a contested constitutional amendment. What kind of development are we talking about when this photo shows a city road and buildings of this nature?

Mandates Are Extended by Performance, Shortened by Failure: The UK and Zimbabwe. The resignation of UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer @Keir_Starmer in June 2026 highlights a simple democratic principle: when leaders lose public and party confidence, their mandates can be cut short. Conversely, when leaders deliver results, confidence in their leadership can be strengthened. In the UK, Starmer's exit followed declining public support, poor electoral performances, and growing pressure from within his own party. His leadership ultimately lost the confidence needed to continue. Zimbabwe presents a contrasting picture. President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa @edmnangagwa continues to enjoy strong backing within ZANU PF Party @ZANUPF_Official and has led the party to successive by-election victories. His supporters attribute this confidence to visible infrastructure development, economic recovery efforts, peace and stability, and progress under Vision 2030. Projects such as the expansion of Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport, the Trabablas Interchange, the Emergency Road Rehabilitation Programme, and the Lake Gwayi-Shangani project are frequently cited as evidence of a development-focused agenda. International financial institutions have also projected positive economic growth for Zimbabwe in 2026. While the UK experienced internal party divisions that led to a change in leadership, Zimbabwe's governing party has largely rallied behind President Mnangagwa, arguing that continuity provides stability and supports long-term national development. The two cases illustrate different democratic outcomes: where confidence is lost, leadership changes; where confidence is maintained through perceived performance, calls for continuity grow. @ParliamentZim @CadreShangrila @CMukungunugwa @snowballOfficia @dereckgoto

Caps United President is missing the point. Caps United legends are not condoning the poor performances of the goalkeeper. Instead they are condemning the public humiliation of Wallace at a time the club should have taken a measured approach to deal with his case.
