Turns out this info was based on the entire Steam catalogue and not new games (my bad) Only 1,200/19,000 new games broke 100k So odds are closer to around 1/16 That said... It could be worse (Especially if you factor in AI/asset flip games)

I think the goal here is to squash any uncertainty that there are plans for future hardware and stop any speculation that she was hired to sunset the brand. Also they just announced Jason Ronald will be giving a talk about future Xbox hardware at GDC. I’m guessing they want to start projecting excitement about the next phase.

@artofsully It happens to all of us. I always start for a small game and end up scope-creeping so bad that I put the project on hold. Oddly enough, one of the (non game-jam) games I actually finished, was a spinoff of a larger project to a word game. small and nice. Best of luck.
