It pains me that this cheat sheet documents truth. The Elect don't think of their ideology in these words. But this is indeed what, and how, they think. We must understand this sheet in order to fully know that we are not evil to disagree with them, and in fact, MUST do so.

What are interest rates on student loans these days (or just pre Covid). My loan rate from 2004 is just 1.5% which means I’m happy to continue to pay off my loan over the max length I can. Rates are much higher now but I would like to know actual rates people have.

I took out $15,000 of student loans and since I graduate last May I repaid $2,000 and now I am so glad to share that I only have $15,633 left to pay😌

@rebeccawatson @DarshunKendrick Not sure I understand your point. Elementary & HS public school is free to all. If I understood her correctly, @DarshunKendrick was arguing against this at the college level. So, I don’t think so. Am I misunderstanding your comment?

This is such a wild take. As if it makes any sense for a destitute person to say "I do not want a free college education if the people who are paying for most of it also get to send their kids to college." Like, what the fuck is wrong with you

Ya know. @PeteButtigieg has a point. I am not interested in giving rich kids free college outside of merit scholarships. It widens the wealth gap. Sorry @ewarren . Ya lost me on that one. Income based only. Partially why Georgia's HOPE scholarship was on life support in 2011.

@DarshunKendrick @rebeccawatson I think @DarshunKendrick was just pointing out that in the current system, the rich pay more by not qualifying for need-based aid. If they don’t need to pay, then they keep the $$ which increases the wealth gap. So let them pay & leave free tuition for those who can’t afford it.
