@TubeAIYT it makes sense we were over due for a correction, also at the end of the day youtube was birthed based on authenticity. there's a reason people were picking youtube shitty quality videos over hollywood movies back in the day. the human connection will always be in the roots

I got destroyed for this post. Meanwhile MrBeast's views dropped 50% from peak. YouTube has stopped pushing over-edited content. The algorithm now rewards real people talking to a camera with something genuine to say. The authenticity cycle has started. I was right.

@thesarmie If you have proof that viral video is possible in your niche, steady views is great. It's actually the perfect time to experiment with different strategies, usually steady views at low total video count means you just need to improve one or 2 things to see a hit.

After 50 videos, my channel is still doesn’t have a viral video, but it has steady views, should I discard it and start all over?

@MegaSparked When you demonetize a channel for inauthentic content then why do you keep running ads on it if it's not suitable for advertisers? That's a very valid point

We are going to sue YouTube But before we do, our lawyer is currently in the process of sending a letter to YouTube. Over 2 weeks ago our channel @UnderSparked" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">youtube.com/@UnderSparked was falsely demonetized under the "inauthentic content" policy. Demonetized doesn't mean no ads though, all it means is YouTube will still run ads on the videos. But they pocket all the revenue, essentially stripping all the revenue from us. We don't claim to be the pinnacle of quality content standards, but the following things do cause us to scratch our heads in confusion 1. All of the bigger channels in the same niche as us are monetized with no issues 2. We literally voice act, edit, etc, all our own videos while 100s of AI storytelling channels are still monetized 3. YouTube is fine with running ads on the videos, pocketing all the revenue. We assume if YouTube had such a big problem with the content, why still serve it to your advertisers? 4. 100s of reaction channels still stay monetized Some examples of bigger monetized channels that are in the same niche as us are: rSlash: @rSlash" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">youtube.com/@rSlash DarkFluff: @DarkFluff" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">youtube.com/@DarkFluff Oz's Vault: youtube.com/channel/UCoJ1A… We support these channels, the reason we are providing these channels as examples is to showcase how it feels like we're being targeted. This has caused extreme distress for my team and I. Many of our livelihoods and families rely on this channel. Our community relies on the UnderSparked channel. Many people support the UnderSparked channel because in a time of nonstop AI channels, we stepped up and used real voice actors to cater to that connection and community that viewers on YouTube crave. We truly believe this demonetization was done in error, all we want is a real human specialist to help us fix the issue. We're tired of constantly receiving only copy and pasted templated responses, constantly neglecting/dismissing our attempts at fixing the false demonetization. We're kindly requesting for a representative from @TeamYouTube to help us fix this demonetization issue with our channel. We don't want to send letters, or sue, or anything! We simply just want to go back to producing content for our community.

Several days ago, YouTube demonetized our channel @UnderSparked" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">youtube.com/@UnderSparked for “inauthentic content.” This recent situation has created tremendous stress for us, as a channel in the age of AI hype. We are proud to be actual voice actors that offer our own unique commentary and narration to the videos we serve to our community. Our content is not automated. It is not mass-produced. It is not a slideshow with no value. We have actual voice actors, actual editors, and literally an actual person on payroll that we pay just to record gameplay. This channel supports my family and the team who help make it possible. Many of the team members apart of this channel make their livelihood through this. We submitted an appeal video showing our production process and workflow, but that got denied without being watched at all. We've reached out numerous times but unfortunately all of our attempts to reach out just keep getting denied by what we suspect is an AI or just copy and pasted templated responses. Instead of receiving a specific explanation, we've repeatedly received generic template responses saying the channel is “inauthentic” without identifying what videos, facts, or patterns caused that decision. If our channel is truly "inauthentic", how are we supposed to even know what to fix if we can't even be told specifically what the issues are? We're not asking for special treatment. We're asking for just one actual real human support/specialist to look at the channel and give it a proper review. And if an actual real human finds it to be "inauthentic". We would like to be told in specific what about the channel is violating the "inauthentic content" policy without receiving a copy and pasted template of examples of what "inauthentic content" is. All we want is for one real human at YouTube to look at the actual evidence.
