I’ve been terminated on YouTube since December 4, 2025. I’ve been making videos since 2006, all original content with no AI because back in the day you had to be original. I submitted an appeal and even talked to support, but my appeal was instantly denied within 10 minutes and the support team didn’t even know what was happening. They were super dismissive and told me a real human had reviewed my channel, the same type of human who age-restricted someone else’s channel just for laughing. It’s fine for mistakes to happen, but the fact that over 12 million channels were terminated between January and September is really scary. I had uploaded 9 videos that day, none of which were spam or involved selling anything. I just want a fair review of all my videos to show that it is all original content. I’m not breaking any rules and why would I risk losing my channel after being on YouTube for so long. It’s crazy that someone can terminate a channel and all you get is the copy and paste response sorry about that. @TeamYouTube you need to do better. I want a real review, not someone just checking my DM and saying hey we already checked. They don’t even tell you directly why your channel was terminated. Mostly I feel bad for all the people who come here every day trying to get their channels back. You need a new system because this AI stuff is not working.

⚠️IMPORTANT READ: If YouTube doesn’t solve its AI problem quickly, we won’t have many human creators left. (+ research insights) If you’re wondering why it feels like you’re seeing more AI content, and why human creators seem to be disappearing, here are the numbers from a real study by Goldberg and Lam. They analyzed what happened to the stock image market after generative AI was introduced. I’ve added an image showing what the data looked like month by month. Every single month after AI entered the market, 1 in 4 creators exited because the economics stopped working for them. Now, it wasn’t bad for everyone. Total consumption on the platform went up by 39% per month. But sales of human-made content dropped every month. The platform won. The buyers won. The human creators… didn’t. Think about what that would look like on YouTube. AI can already generate scripts, voiceovers, thumbnails, talking-head videos, and entire channels at a fraction of the cost and time it takes a human creator to produce a single video. The algorithm doesn’t care whether a video was made by a person who spent three days filming and editing or by a system that generated it in 20 minutes. This isn’t about being anti-AI. AI helps a lot of creators improve their output. But it is about protecting the type of content people actually want to watch. And I’m not just talking about removing AI slop. I’m talking about making sure human-driven channels are protected and prioritized over AI-driven content. The stock image market already ran the experiment that YouTube hasn’t fully felt yet. Don't ignore that. Here’s my ask to one person: @nealmohan I know you’ve seen some of my work (algorithm, platform changes, etc). I respect what you’re doing for the platform, but this is your moment to stand for human creators. It’s time to put public effort into protecting them. Not just AI labeling or low-lift solutions, they don't solve the problem in a meaningful way. No, we need a genuine, real, and public effort to preserve what YouTube was built on. You’re one of the few people in a position to set a precedent for every platform. Let’s talk. For those interested in the actual research, check out Samuel G. Goldberg and H. Tai Lam's paper called "Generative AI In Equilibrium: Evidence From A Creative Goods Marketplace"

@TeamYouTube Day 61. It's been 3 months since your last boilerplate response, and I demand a real audit of my channel. and I'm still waiting for a real person to review my channel, Artem_BA_official. I already mentioned that I filed a complaint with the Dispute Resolution Organization under Section 21 of the Digital Service Act and am now waiting for a response from the Google/YouTube team. I disagreed with the blocking of my channel, as it didn't violate the community guidelines or the platform's rules. I filed appeals every 2-3 weeks, but they were quietly rejected without even a real review. And I'm completely unhappy with how you responded to my other account X. I need a real specialist who will actually check my channel. I filed a new appeal on March 1st and am still waiting for a response. It's been 24 days and nothing has changed, so I'm asking for a real person to handle this. Case Number: [8-4880000040925]. And I repeat, I need a manual review of my channel. Stop ignoring me; I'm a small content creator who needs help with my case. My channel, Artem_BA_official, doesn't violate any platform or community rules. My channels have never been blocked, and my animated content fully complies with all requirements. I request that the channel be unblocked, as it poses no threat to the community or the platform. My channel operates strictly within the rules, so I request that it be reviewed by a real professional. @YouTube @TeamYouTube @YouTubeCreators

After over 100k+ total views across all my posts and hundreds of people supporting and tagging @TeamYouTube on my posts regarding my channel Hoopletics getting mistakenly terminated for “spam” I still haven’t heard anything back from them. It’s been 46 days already since my channel got terminated and if it reaches 50 days I will lose all the withheld revenue on the channel. I had over $1000 in withheld revenue in this channel and it will be stolen away if this doesn’t get fixed in 4 days. My channel was a gaming channel with original gameplay content all recorded and edited manually. There are other channels that make the same type of gaming content and have no issues for years. All videos were monetized and no strikes or issues prior to this termination. I had this channel since 2022 and never had any issue like this. The content was always in the same gaming niche. I truly believe this was a false positive error that needs to be fixed asap. I even filed a complaint under the EU DSA and it has already been forwarded to YouTube but still no response or explanation. I don’t want to be dramatic, but I legit haven’t been able to sleep well at all for over a month because of this and am a complete mess. I loved making the content I was making, I worked 3-4 hours everyday on this channel and it is literally like a part of me just got ripped away for no good reason and it hurts bad. My livelihood and health is being badly affected and I am just being ignored. Please continue to like, RT, and tag teamyoutube on my post. It would mean the world to me. This is the DM YouTube sent me. I want to say I truly appreciate everything everyone did for me, but it looks like I'm not going to get this resolved. I won't forget what you did to try to help get my channel back. Seriously, just thank you so much. Best 10 years of my life.

I NEED YOUR HELP! After all the support my recent post got, I still haven’t heard anything back from @TeamYouTube aside from automated responses from a month ago and nothing since. My gaming channel was removed on Feb 4 for “spam” with no warnings or strikes/restrictions and all 400+ videos on my channel were monetized. Appeal was auto rejected in a few minutes. I wish this could get properly looked at because it has already been 43 days since and I will lose all withheld revenue if this doesn’t get fixed in a week. But to be honest, at this point I don’t even care about the revenue anymore, I just want my channel back. I miss doing what made me happy everyday. Believe me, I haven’t been the same since losing my channel, I haven’t slept well since, I can’t even eat properly anymore, and I am under so much stress and anxiety every single day. Please like, RT, and tag teamyoutube on this post. Any help would mean the world to me. Thank you Channel url: m.youtube.com/channel/UCgzeJ…

PLEASE GUYS I NEED YOUR HELP AGAIN 854K people saw my last post and I’m so grateful for everyone who supported me. Unfortunately, I still haven’t heard anything back from @TeamYouTube beyond a generic reply they sent me in January. My 10-year gaming/tutorial channel with 800+ videos was removed on Jan 17 with no warnings or strikes, and all videos were monetised. When this happened, I appealed through the Studio dashboard and it was denied in under a minute. After around 50 emails back and forth, all I’ve been told is “spam/scams/deceptive practices” from Creator Support with no specifics provided. In 2016, my channel was terminated under the same category and later reinstated following a manual review. This channel means a lot to me and all I want is a real human to review it so I can put this behind me and get back to doing what I love = creating videos. Please reshare 🙏 It has now been over 90 days since my YouTube channel of 19 years was terminated on December 4, 2025. Nearly two decades of original work disappeared overnight. I started creating content in 2006. No AI content and not a faceless channel. I built over 1,000 real comedy and variety videos through years of consistency and effort. The reason given was spam, deceptive practices, or scams, yet no specific examples were provided. My appeal was denied quickly even though my account had no active strikes and was always in good standing. The only thing different that day was uploading 9 original videos. They were not duplicates or reposts, and there is no rule limiting how many original uploads can be posted in a day. I’ve seen creators go viral and get their channels restored over strikes, yet my channel with a clean history is still gone. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau hoping it would lead to a proper review, but I continue receiving the same automated style responses. I’m respectfully asking @TeamYouTube for a real human review and direct communication. @TeamYouTube 19 years of creativity, time, and community should matter. I’m still creating content on Rumble, Instagram, and TikTok, but YouTube is where my journey began. If you’ve ever built something over years, you know how much that means 💙

@medeadly I was just talking to my son about the Deadly Adventures. That’s why he couldn’t find it. YouTube is inconsistent with the rules. I learned that you can get by with anything but the F word as long as the video is 8 minutes. But they’ll change the rules & hit you later anyway.
