@itsstephtoms Yeah I’ve found one gp at my surgery who really listens to me but it’s a nightmare getting an appointment with her. Both the other docs who gave me my diagnoses for adhd and PCOS basically said “you have adhd/pcos here’s some pills good luck!” And that was it 😒

@Megan_Reith Mate you NAILED IT!!! When I actually have a problem my dr is great and really listens to me, but it’s so hard to actually get a face to face with him most of the time! I find out more from Google than I do from other doctors half the time 😩

genuinely, going back on the contraceptive pill has been one of the worst things i've ever done to myself

@itsstephtoms And like don’t get me wrong, we’re hella lucky to have the NHS… it’s just not very good, especially when it comes to women’s reproductive health and mental health… 👀

@itsstephtoms Same here as well! And then just to be told oh sorry we got it wrong, you didn’t need antidepressants, you had ADHD all along 😂😂 feels like the NHS has screwed us over in every damn way possible!

@itsstephtoms Yep 100% if I could go back to bad cramps and heavy bleeding it would be so much better than all the other symptoms 😔 and the worst part is that whenever a girl goes to the docs with bad periods to avoid doing anything helpful they stick you on the pill and leave you to it 😒
