@mehul It depends on what you're building for. It's possible with robots designed for a wide range of tasks. Your robot cleans, but I'm tired of it and want it to play tennis with me, can it, how?

@mehul @farzyness @maticrobots Thanks for the response, but it's four times the price plus maintenance cost of something that does 80%. Tesla is comparable in pricing and free up people's time/energy. Love the tech though, hope you eventually get there.

@rfunk82 it's not a hook... it's an honest question that we asked as users ourselves. we genuinely couldn't understand why disc robot vacuums ship a new HW every 3 months like fast fashion instead of software updates...

@mehul I just don’t think anyone ever said that vacuums should not or can’t get updates, to be honest, it sounds like a hook, no disrespect, maybe I misunderstood your message 👍

@DhaPhatPhuc @farzyness @maticrobots tbh, it costs less than coffee cup per day and saves so much time, energy, and headche... goal is to make it so good that if feels like a bargain even at high prices the same was Tesla does.

@wholemars We started shipping around release 65 I think.. so now almost 100 software updates since we started shipping. Every week our customers get a new robot!

I’m in. Expectations are quite high, but in my research it seems @maticrobots is committed and passionate about the product where other companies seem to just annually release a whole new bot. Let’s see if this is the “FSD” of robot vacuums! Thanks to all who offered their input and experience as well as Matic for engaging with me. I’ve got 3 cats, 2 kids and a split level home (I think I should have ordered a second dock… 🤔). So my floors are often chaos. Mostly carpet but a few rooms that will benefit from mopping. Similar to FSD, my wife will be the real test. She has been annoyed by every vacuum bot we’ve had (Eufy, Roomba, Wyze, Neato) and how dumb they are. Guaranteed I’ll be sharing the experience with yall here.
