this is so fucking wholesome
guy used AI to save his cancer-ridden dog by sequencing its DNA and creating a CUSTOM cure.
the tech behind this is fucking awesome (well done @demishassabis and the google team):
- used CHATGPT to sequence dogs DNA discovers mutations
- ran the mutations through Google’s Alphafold (AI protein sequencer) which CREATED A CUSTOM VACCINE TO TREAT THEM.
- treated dog and reduced tumour by 50% in WEEKS. dog is alive and well.
- this is the 1st time AI has been used to create a custom vaccine for a dog (and it worked)
- dude is now working on similar vaccines for humans using AI!
2026 is definitely the year we see AI change personalised medicine in a HUGE way
so sick

If you do not set up your OpenClaw correctly, it's going to SUCK
It will do tasks poorly, not remember anything, and not be proactive
Here are the 5 things you need to do right away to turn your OpenClaw into AGI (demos of each in the video below)
1. Brain dump: your OpenClaw won't know how to accomplish your goals for you, if it doesn't know your goals
If you haven't yet, you want to tell your OpenClaw:
• Your interests
• Your career
• Your goals
• Your ambitions
• Anything personal
Do this, and your Claw will have the context to be SUPER powerful for you
2. Connect your tools
Your OpenClaw can basically use almost every tool you use on your computer
You just need to ask it to
Ask your OpenClaw to connect to any tools you use daily, and it will just figure out how to do it. Then create a skill for it
I have it check my Things 3 todo list every morning and complete any tasks it can
3. Build a Mission Control
Your mission control is just a hub for your OpenClaw to build custom tooling
Ask your OpenClaw to build a Mission Control using NextJS
Then anytime your bot doesn't have the tool available to do a task, have it build it in your Mission Control
4. Mission Statement
Your OpenClaw needs a mission statement
This is the one sentence statement that will be the north star for every single thing it does
It should be based on your goals and ambitions.
My Claw's mission statement is "“An autonomous organization of AI agents that does work for me and produces value 24/7”
Make your own and have your Claw put it at the top of your Mission Control. Now every task your Claw does will take you closer to this statement
5. Make it proactive
Your OpenClaw won't be proactive unless you set those expectations with it
Tell your Claw you want it to do a task every night at 2am that brings you one step closer to your mission statement
Now every morning you'll wake up and it will do something that surprises you and helps bring you closer to your goals
Do these 5 things and your OpenClaw will be 10000x more powerful

😔 what are the chances the open source project survives / thrives after this?
Sam Altman@sama
Peter Steinberger is joining OpenAI to drive the next generation of personal agents. He is a genius with a lot of amazing ideas about the future of very smart agents interacting with each other to do very useful things for people. We expect this will quickly become core to our product offerings. OpenClaw will live in a foundation as an open source project that OpenAI will continue to support. The future is going to be extremely multi-agent and it's important to us to support open source as part of that.

@VadimStrizheus @mdnlabs Oauth doesn’t even work anymore. Unless there is a trick

Day 1 of OpenClaw 🦞
Stayed up until 1am absolutely speechless.
> Added $5 to Claude API ✅
> Setup openclaw gateway ✅
> Setup Discord bot so we can both see work it does ✅
> Scraped TikTok pages and research for planning marketing ✅
> Researched auto-content creation and publishing ✅
> Spent $0.33 total
We're literally 2 guys in our 20s with zero VC funding and a 24/7 AI employee.
Sky's the limit.
Oh, and it's name is Carl.
What should we cook?

English

@VadimStrizheus What are the others LLMs that you are using and for what tasks if you don’t mind sharing. Great work btw.
English

I watch my entire AI company work in REAL-TIME!!
I tell Jarvis what I want, and he identifies which employee (that he manages) should get the task and do the work.
Jarvis literally delegated 3 tasks to my 3 separate AI employees THAT HE MANAGES!
Jarvis is doing all of the work for me, and this literally brings so much value into my life.
We aren’t even a week into using OpenClaw and we’re acting like a billion dollar startup.
TRULY INSANE!!
English

@VadimStrizheus What’s the MCP server for? Please explain. When you say $300 /month is that including $200 for Claude?
English

Day 5 of OpenClaw 🦞
My entire AI team is now building relationships with one another IN REALTIME!!
I added new md, soul, and memory files per ai employee so that they:
- Know what to do
- Have distinct and unique personalities
- Remember and build relationships overtime.
The @VugolaAI team just got 100x better, and we are only 5 days into OpenClaw.
I’m actually thinking about getting a second Mac Mini and trying to run a small AI model locally, this feels like the future!!
P.S I have no coding experience or knowledge at all. 🙃
English

Why humanoids, why now?
∙LLMs finally give robots a brain
∙Actuator costs dropped 10x in 5 years
∙The big players are all building $100K research platforms
There’s a gap for something practical and affordable. That’s MKII. @MKIIRobotics
English

The creator of Clawdbot/Moltbot/OpenClaw @steipete, pushes 144 commits per day on average. Pre-AI, this was impossible.
He ships code he never reads. He’s a conductor. GPT and Claude are his orchestra. 5–10 AI agents run in parallel under his command.
One person is now an army.
English

@chr1sganz @openclaw Yup running into same error. Annoying. Wondering if kimi 2.5 is as good as opus.
English

Anyone else running into Anthropic rate limits when using @openclaw ? How are you managing? Claw just stops working. E.g. if looking at a large file. Doesn't pivot to grep or similar to work around the limitation.
English

@Yuchenj_UW I don’t let Claude Code on my codebase. It’s all codex. Would be too buggy with Opus.
