What is it with formal queues in pubs? I preferred the old days - leaning on the bar, waving a £20 note, and being ignored.

Why was Boris happy to ride around on his bike or in a simple Nissan/electric vehicle, but Sadiq who preaches to us about air pollution must be driven around in a huge armoured SUV??

I hate that you can’t fully switch off Wi-Fi from the Control Center on iPhones… you still have to go into Settings to actually turn it off, which is pretty annoying IMO. On Android, when you turn Wi-Fi off from the control panel, it actually turned off completely.

@Turbinetraveler This is terrifying! What if he discovered Allah after 40 years of flying and decided to take the plane into the ground? At such a low altitude the poor passengers would have only a couple seconds to survive.

ICELANDAIR REPORTS OWN PILOT TO POLICE OVER LOW FLYOVER INCIDENT. Icelandair has taken a serious stance after one of its pilots allegedly flew a Boeing 757 (TF-ISR) below permitted altitude, nearly 100 m/328 ft over Vestmannaeyjar, during his final flight before retirement. The captain, a native of the area, was saying goodbye after 40 years of service and reportedly carried out the low-level pass while operating a Frankfurt-Keflavík service. According to the airline's Chief Flight Officer, the maneuver was conducted without management knowledge or approval and only came to light after the incident.

@BarackObama @NASAArtemis Can you just stop. You're the most divisive President in US history. You could have done this during your presidencies. You failed or refused. Acknowledge President Trump on this accomplishment.

What the Artemis II astronauts did over the last 10 days was a testament to their bravery. And the fact that they traveled farther from Earth than anyone ever has, re-entered our atmosphere at more than 24,000 mph, and splashed down safely was a testament to human ingenuity. Thanks to everyone at @NASA for making this mission possible, and for taking us along for the ride.

🚨PESTON CALLS KEIR STARMER’S BLUFF OVER HIS ATTACK BLAMING TRUMP FOR UK ENERGY BILLS 🔥 Prime Minister Caught Red Handed After Publicly Blaming Trump For Soaring UK Bills 🤔 Yesterday Keir Starmer stood up and openly blamed Donald Trump for Britain’s crippling energy price rises, telling ITV he was “fed up” with families and businesses seeing bills go up and down because of the actions of Trump. Today in Qatar, Robert Peston called his bluff and pressed him hard, straight to his face. “Yesterday you told ITV News you’re fed up with energy bills going up because of actions taken by Putin and Trump. Did you take it up with Trump when you spoke to him?” Starmer’s slippery, weasely answer said it all. He didn’t say a f*cking thing to Trump about the bills. Not one word. Instead he pivoted straight to some UK-led coalition waffle about pulling together 30 countries for a diplomatic and military plan to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. What a monumental fraud and national embarrassment this man is.

🚨STARMER BLASTS TRUMP: IT’S TRUMP’S FAULT UK FAMILIES HAVE SKY HIGH ENERGY BILLS! 😳 Prime Minister Points Finger Directly At Us President For Punishing British Households With Wild And Soaring Price Swings Whoa! Keir Starmer has taken the gloves off completely and is now openly blaming President Donald Trump, alongside Putin, for the sky-high and fluctuating energy bills hammering UK families and businesses. Speaking during his Gulf visit as oil prices surged above $110 a barrel amid escalating Middle East tensions and Trump’s strong rhetoric, the Prime Minister unleashed his frustration at global leaders he claims are causing the chaos. “I’m fed up with the fact that families across the country see their bills go up and down on energy, businesses bills go up and down on energy because of the actions of Putin or Trump across the world,” Starmer declared. This provocative swipe escalates transatlantic tensions, but critics are pointing to Starmer’s net zero obsession, refusal to allow new North Sea drilling, and heavy green taxes have left Britain dangerously reliant on volatile imports, making UK energy prices among the highest in the world regardless of international events.

Israel ruthlessly carpet bombed Lebanon today, killing at least 180 people and injuring more than 800. How does the BBC report it? “Israel says it hit more than 100 command centres and military sites in 10 minutes…” This is how war crimes are laundered.

Day 3 of switching to the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra (as an iPhone user) ok y’all, it’s time. i can’t do this anymore. i’m switching back to my iPhone 😭 don’t get me wrong- the S24 Ultra is a great phone, and i totally get why so many people love samsung. that being said, although there are a lot of things i like about this phone, my iPhone 17 Pro has better performance, a MUCH better camera, and i honestly miss iOS and the Apple Ecosystem and Live Activities SO MUCH 😭 ALSO, android apps just aren’t as nice to use as iPhone apps- they feel a lot less polished because they have fewer in-app animations and haptics and stuff 🫠 the benefits of a Samsung phone- like the S-pen and Good Lock- just aren’t important enough to me personally for me to keep using it over my iPhone ngl, but i totally get why people pick Samsungs over iPhones- it’s INSANE how much you can tweak and mess around with lol this was a really fun experiment, but until Google focuses on improving app quality on Android i really don’t think i could ever switch to using an Android as my main phone lol i’m gonna keep the S24 Ultra as a secondary phone, so i can still have the Android experience and post about it, but my eSim will be going back in the iPhone :p my iPhone has all the customisation features i could want, so again- i personally don’t really find things like Good Lock worth giving up app quality and the Apple ecosystem and stuff for 😭 ANYWAY- thank you all for reading! i’m going to make a long-form video soon talking about the experience in more detail, so keep an eye out for when i post that! lmk if you have any questions or anything and i’ll answer them asw✌️
