$ASTS weekly chart: We have formed a large flag similar to August 2024 to Q1 2025. This explains the frustrating price action. During these longer consolidation windows it's more common for positive news to be shrugged off. We closed right at the weekly 35ema, which has previously provided support, however, in early 2025 we undercut it 4 times and tagged the bottom of the flag before officially bottoming. We could see a similar move towards $65/$67 before a move back to the top of the flag and potential breakout. The MACD histogram is the 2nd most oversold ever in the stock's history. Prior extreme oversold reading in the MACD have aligned with bottoms forming. It's on it's 10th consecutive week under bearish momentum making it the longest stretch since late 2024 into early 2025. Volume has ticked up during the latest two week drawdown. This also follows the pattern of selling volume picking up towards the end of a drawdown. While there are no strong buy signals, there's evidence that the latest consolidation remains bullish despite the large range it's stuck in. The $65 level is critical to hold while reclaiming $90 and then $100 would be necessary to set it up for a breakout. *NFA

$ASTS What most people including the FUDsters don't understand is that AST is not a novice, has a great head of regulatory in J. Manner and indirect support from lawyers of armies from AT&T, Verizon, Vodafone, STC, Bell and more for local dealings. This AST filling was just a call option in the case SpaceX was allowed in other bands, AST wanted to make sure they would also be allowed in their S-band. It's to make sure they are correctly positioned in the what if scenario. If the satellites are built/registered/launched under German/EU administration (as announced: ITU filing through Germany, sovereign ops center in Germany with EU "command switch" for TT&C encryption), the primary licensing and operational authority rests with European regulators and the ITU coordination process. The FCC does not license foreign space stations for operations entirely outside U.S. jurisdiction. The FCC cannot dictate what frequencies a foreign-licensed satellite uses while over Europe serving European users. The April 2026 dismissal (DA 26-398) only blocked AST's U.S.-licensed main constellation from using the 2 GHz MSS bands internationally. It does not automatically extend to a distinct EU system FCC could theoretically impose indirect restrictions, but will it really make life that hard for its most promising D2D constellation? The Satco structure allows for AST to obtain S-Band spectrum as long as they create European satellites that service S-band when they are over the European market. Same for S-Band in Saudi Arabia. STC holds those licenses and as long as its only used intra country the US FCC has no jurisdiction (that sits with the local Saudi telco regulator) That's why even though on paper AST is denied S-band, in practise it still will likely have regional access for atleast Europe and Saudi. That's why SpaceX is so frustrated in the legal filings about Satco. AST is one step ahead always.
