@JFpaes15 @KindredBlade Absolutely not. I'd rather devs have a vision for the future and fail, than to play it safe, boring, and invalidating player choice in the sequel (e.g. by chosing a 'canon' ending, awkwardly combining them, or just hiding outcomes from previous choices)

@KindredBlade It'll be all for naught if the game ends up flopping. Better to focus only on it and make it as best as it can individually be to ensure its success. Then after it's a hit, they can start thinking about expanding with sequels.

Creation Engine is the subject of many jokes but it is incredible at what it does. The engine is expressly built to let you pick up every single item in the game. Anyone pushing for another engine is pushing to move away from what makes Elder Scrolls and Fallout what they are.

One of the Biggest False Narratives is that BGS has slowed down too much or takes forever between games 😤 They haven't gone 5 years between mainline games even ONCE yet, with more side-projects & support for past titles than ever Yes we want ESVI and we've waited too long, but guess what--we'll probably get it 4.5-5 years after Starfield. The Fallout 3 Remakester is likely NEXT YEAR for S3 of the TV show as I've been said and has been worked on since Oblivion. I'm incredibly psyched it's 'officially' confirmed tho we knew it was coming. FONV Remakester wasn't guaranteed, so that's beautiful. There's SO MUCH goodness in this announcement, Starfield continuing, FO76 plans but part of why it was needed is this consistent false narrative. They've slowed a little, from avg 3.5 yr from Morrowind to Skyrim, to just over 4 yr avg from Skyrim to Starfield trending toward 5. That's it, it's just maths. It hasn't always been what everyone wanted (besides me lol), but it's been good and ESVI is going to be great. Just wait y'all, it's coming 💜🔥☢️

@Meelsie143 The 'imminent death' aspect itself was honestly my least favourite part of the game's narrative There are more ways to motivate a player to do a main quest than threatening the protagonist with personal annihilation (e.g. Cyberpunk or BG3) or the end of the universe or something

cyberpunk 2077 would probably be a much better game if it had a time limit but I probably wouldn’t enjoy it as much

That’s a wrap on Vampyr! It’s an excellent vampire game that has a decent premise: Doctor turned vampire tasked to save London from an epidemic. This is a game I can recommend to those who want a light RPG vampire game.
