I don't currently use this mouse (or any mouse), but when I did, it gave me low-battery alerts and the charge would last months (probably 6 months), then I would charge it up at night when sleeping. My guess is the designers of the mouse didn't want to clutter the overall user experience form factor with the charging port that's seldom used. Makes total sense to me. I think it's a beautiful mouse. I enjoyed using it. And charging it presented no problem whatsoever.

because the mouse probably isnt alerting you how much battery life it has, and its very possible its gonna fail when you are in the middle of using it. which is why basically every other rechargable mouse has the charge cable plug in a different spot.
