@HostWithTerra Personally, I feel the website looks too AI-generated and overly colorful, which comes across as less professional. My suggestion: tone down the "fancy" design elements to eliminate the AI feel and swap the heavy blue, purple, and pink for more neutral colors.

@bokiko My best recommendation is Zabbix. Its free, easy to use, has lots of support for all kind of devices and very customizable.

Homelab question: how are you monitoring the PCs on your network? I mean real PCs, not VMs. Stats, health, temps, uptime, issues… Any solid open-source app for that?

@thedatabunny The MSP I work at uses for it’s network fortigate as router/firewall. Hpe Aruba for switching and unifi for AP WiFi. So yeah different vendors are tricky but could definitely work!

A FortiAp connected to a 2960x switch. It can be a little tricky, but it works. This site already has a Fortigate firewall as the wireless controller. Port on Cisco switch is in Trunk mode. The Fortigate is able to find it over the network if configured correctly

@bokiko @MARA @bitdeer Yes they are partly transitioning to AI but they also sell BTC to keep the BTC farms running. They are not leaving BTC they are just looking at some other opportunities while they are surviving the bear market.

Public bitcoin miners are selling $BTC and pivoting to AI data centers @MARA, @bitdeer ,Cipher, Core Scientific but here's what most ppl miss: when big players exit, difficulty drops. when difficulty drops, margins improve for everyone still mining bitcoin is self-correcting by design, the network doesn't care who leaves ,,, it adjusts and rewards whoever stays
