This is Abim-Lira Road this morning. For over decades, the Ethur has waited on President @KagutaMuseveni to fullfil his promises to fix Abim District road networks, but this is still a dream. Meanwhile lives has been lost on this road and development crippled due to poor roads

For over decades, the Abim people have waited on President @KagutaMuseveni's promises to fix the Abim District road networks, but this continued to be a dream. Many lives has been lost on this roads, and businesses crippled. I can on President Museveni to act and fix this.

Abim District is beautiful though neglected by the @GovUganda. It's central and strategic location was not enough for the government to include its roads construction in this years' financial budget. @KagutaMuseveni @MatiaK5 @UKParliament, the people of Abim are disgusted.

Several additional roads are currently under negotiation for tarmacking to improve connectivity and facilitate transportation. These include the Kabujogyera–Kitagwenda–Kamwenge Road, Muhaanga–Rwamuchuuchu–Kisiizi–Rubaare Road with branches extending to Nyakisheenyi and Kebisoni, as well as the Lyantonde–Lumbugu–Rakai Road. #SONA2025 #SONA25

The President of @ug_lawsociety while making his speech at FDC Katonga offices about the 36 released FDC members has described the DPP, Her Lordship Jane Francis Abodo as “vagina from Karamoja”. This is not cool at all from a President. Dignity for women is key.

The facts gathered indicate that the victim and two of the suspects, Karedou Robert and his wife Nalwoga Brenda, knew each other. They however, developed a business conflict, where they claim the victim has swindled over USD1 million, from them. The two contacted a friend in the police, SP Irama Vincent and together, they hired Cpl Anyuse Max, as a hit man. On the fateful day of 30.05.2023, the soldier got a gun, that he deserted with from the DRC, and trailed the victim, in his Subaru legacy, reg. no. UBJ 006K, dark blue, up to his home in Kitoko-Birongo, Ndejje Division. He shot 4 bullets at the victim as he moved to close the main gate, within two intervals killing him instantly.
