A She/Her objected to my article debunking the notion that "trans" people have opposite-sex brains. She accused me of "deliberately ignoring all the studies that show a difference between trans and homosexual brains," and linked a paper.
It 100% supports MY claims:
"After controlling for sexual orientation, the transgender groups showed SEX-TYPICAL FA-values."
The only differences they found in the "trans" groups were in "brain areas that mediate own body perception."
So @NeuroSGS, @buttonslives, and I are 100% correct. The brains of people who identify as transgender don't exhibit a cross-sex shift when sexuality is properly considered in the analyses.

I just saw a trans-inclusive gym host a talk about breast awareness… so don’t tell me that you can’t have a gym that dedicates lessons to female-only experiences and have to exclude trans women in the process. @nataleebfitness

It was not easy but we got on with it

I grew up in 1970s. Cold War. Nuclear winter. 3 day-week. 3 million unemployed. 3 channels on TV. 2 pairs of shoes. Only middle class people bought their own home. Though we did have butterscotch instant whip and Ziggy. Yes, times are challenging, but our young people need learn resilience so they can build a better world

I am well aware of the importance of mental health care for people in distress
Every week we get a new referral for some one who has severe distress because they rushed to irreversible decisions
