@JFreshHockey Draft picks are overvalued in the NHL outside of the top-5 or top-10. It often seems the worst thing you can do with a pick is to use it at the draft. Trade it. A year or two of a proven vet is better than a 30% shot in 4 years.

surprisingly, the first firing this season came after the mid-point of the season.
with the clock reset on CBJ, now that Bowness is taking over, the average tenure across all 32 teams is 2.48 years. it was 2.23 years ~this time last season.

@BetweenThieves7 @JFreshHockey This doesn't really compare the 1st line talent to the 3rd & 4th. It shows the performance relative to the competition on the ice against them. Finishing has been NHL average, so there could be some upside, and of course there's that powerplay...

@JFreshHockey This actually shows me that there is a correction coming. Some 3rd and 4th liners on the Avs arent better than 1st liners talent wise, the tight clustering tells me the return to the mean will redistribute those players and they have almost no room on their ceiling from here.
