@filmingwanderer I think the problem with Star Wars is that it kinda looses its sense of extraordinary scale and wonder when it’s constantly diluted with television, and this is coming from someone that enjoys about 90% of the shows we get. It also means the writing, when bad, is more obvious

People have put Star Wars on too high of a pedestal and take it too seriously. It’s always been a series about fun space adventures, maybe stop worrying about if the next piece of Star Wars media is gonna be a huge masterpiece. It doesn’t have to be that to be fun and enjoyable.

@hdwmovies The movie genuinely has this semblance of an awesome plot idea that genuinely ends up being “oh this extremely important imperial officer we asked you to get told us the hutts are bad” like are we deadass?

There are two entirely separate scenes in this movie where Din interacts with Rotta the hut in a prison cell and I shit you not, Rotta goes on a rant about being in his fathers shadow and being his own man and then 20 minutes later goes on the exact same rant.

@DarkOfTheMovie There is clearly a divide in who is greenlighting these projects because the quality gap between every second project is horrendous. This show used to mean something and it wound up being a movie to sell toys and that’s the nicest thing I can say about it now

@SheevTalks It has a morsel of potential for the first 20 minutes anytime mando is on screen, and then it becomes the longest most inconsequential filler episode ever. I genuinely could not believe the movie was still going at some points

@Jahtri16 @SheevTalks Given the stakes that were on the line, I would say RoS is comfortably worse just purely on the fact that it failed on almost metric. This movie is bad largely because it learnt nothing from the poor reception of S3 and has a completely nothing plot.

@MarvelComradeJr Omfg, I went to kings in Syd and sure the workers there are lovely but Jesus Christ the cost of literally any Omni, specifically the full collections of Invincible required literally 300 bucks it was nuts

I don’t think some of you understand how hard it is to get comics in Australia. Singles at the only comic book store in Sydney are like $12-15, omnis are $180-280, backissues can be $30. Shipping more than 10 comics from the US can be over $60, more than 50 can be more than $200.
