Mets are no longer losing games because their bullpen is inept. They now have a legit path to Díaz. This team has basically solidified itself to grab a Wild Card.

Lara is a prospect, but I never liked him LOVE this move.

@SotoC803 Blackburn will at least allow the Mets to have a competitive starter every fifth day which is a big upgrade over where they are now. Couple this with having Buttó and Megill in the pen, it’s also a bullpen bolstering move.

Given the prices at this trade deadline, this actually seems light for Blackburn even if I think Morris becomes a legit Major Leaguer
