Dewsbury Hall was also asked about David Moyes.
He said one thing Moyes uses a lot is his experience. Over 700 games in the premier league, he knows the league well and uses that experience.
He said they might be going for a tough away game, Moyes will script out how to get 3 points and they will. He said he knows people don’t even expect Everton to get a point in many games but see how they’ve been achieving.
I’ve said it before, this is what Moyes was doing for West Ham, but they didn’t appreciate him, he even won the UEFA Conference League with them, they thought they were all that until Moyes left. They’re battling relegation now.

I just watched Dewsbury Hall on MNF describe Maresca. Firstly, the reason he joined Chelsea was primarily because Maresca had coached him at Leicester, and he was the best player for him when they won the league. So it was not a bad decision for him to move to Chelsea. He described Maresca as a chess player. Very tactical, knows how to read the game a lot.

Arsenal players based in London paid a visit to Xavi Simons, showing respect and support despite being city rivals. ⚽️
Even with the intensity of competition on the pitch, moments like this prove that humanity comes first off the pitch. It’s a powerful reminder that football is more than just rivalry—it’s about unity, respect, and standing by each other in difficult times.
This is the true definition of humility coming first. 💙*****

@DavefcKelly @billyliar9 @EFC_FanAdvisory @EFC_FansForum @The1878s @lcabbabeh @lgatesphoto @mintisculture @ToffeeTVEFC @FalconBluesTV Can’t believe it’s only £12.5k to go to France for 3 days with Leon Osman and Tony Hibbert! Absolute bargain. Seriously, I need to know who actually pays for this and goes. They are clearly not being taxed enough.

Following on from the above inflation busting increase to season tickets the club decide to announce these jolly boys days out.I assume tickets for the away at Spurs will come out of the regular away allocation

@journalism_news Surely the issue here is how utterly terrible regional news websites are. The REACH Liverpool Echo website , eg, is borderline unusable. I simply don’t bother anymore and clearly I’m not alone.

@FantaScruffsJaw @bluesofgoodison Will have to be. We have a manager who’s only ever reached a total of 2 Cup Finals for all the clubs he’s managed across a nearly 30 year career.
English

@bluesofgoodison Will you be content with us not winning a trophy next season too?
English

@bluesofgoodison I mean, we finished 13th last year and without the points deduction would have finished 12th the year before. So that’s 3 consecutive seasons of 10-13th. There is a huge section of our fanbase who completely lack ambition and are content to tolerate mediocrity.
English

@Birchy_Steve @nocontextEFC Circular argument this. We don’t have the squad because the manager wasted £140m on a shower of duds (not including KDH or Grealish in this) whilst completely failing to address glaring full back issues. He tells us himself that he signs off on the transfers.
English

@nocontextEFC Some of our fans need to get real about where we've been and how much work we have to do.
We don't have the squad to be overly getting on Moyes' back. We're not underperforming.
There aren't many full backs in the entire league I wouldn't pick over ours.
English

@adamjeffrey98 Hmmm. Maybe because he was one of the most successful managers in world football with a track record of almost unbridled success everywhere he’d been. Whilst David Moyes is just David Moyes. Imagine comparing the two. Wow.
English

@SimonFlynnefc @colingeorgerice Well that’s on the manager. He’s wasted the money on players he had limited ability/interest in developing. We had key priority areas that he just hasn’t addressed and Dwight McNeill is a first team starter after £140m spent.
English

@Mexico864 @colingeorgerice Well they aren’t ready now Barry included
English

@declanmartin Hardly. The vast, vast majority of actual paying, match going fans absolutely hate VAR.
English

History will record that dear old Andy was almost always on the wrong side of history
Andy Burnham@AndyBurnhamGM
VAR is serving no useful purpose. It kills spontaneity in the ground and doesn’t get decisions right. Get rid.
English

@SimonFlynnefc @colingeorgerice So the only player he wanted was the one who has been good? He didn’t want the others? Of course, if KDH had been a dud as well, people would’ve sed he didn’t want him either. We don’t have the luxury of spending £40m on players for the future, tbh.
English

@Mexico864 @colingeorgerice He clearly didn’t want those players he plays KDH , Barry isn’t good enough, Dibling 1 for the future same with Aznou
English

@torturedtoffee @colingeorgerice He’s been in charge of us for nearly half of those 30 years, by the way so I think that probably balances out that.
English

@colingeorgerice He's won more in the last four years than we have in more than 30.
English

@SimonFlynnefc @colingeorgerice Maybe he shouldn’t have blown millions of pounds in the summer then on players he never plays.
English

@colingeorgerice Not had the team to challenge has he really 🤷♂️Won Europa Conference League I’m sure if he had a team capable he’d get the job done, I’m 100% behind the manager our squad is wank not 1 decent full back or striker at the club. What did you expect when the season started?!
English

@colingeorgerice Stockholm syndrome. Some Evertonians support Moyes more than they support the club. An absurd tolerance of mediocrity has been beaten into them over the years by Bill and Davey. It’s why we never win anything.
English

@MarvaKreel @_luke1878_ A few years? 🤦🏻Yes, we need to let the big guns like Brighton, Bournemouth and Brentford battle it out above us. Maybe after a few more years of David Moyes we might be able to compete with such behemoths. We can only hope!
English

@ProTottenham You lads planning on winning any games at all? Maybe a bit more than 2 in the last 24 or 25?
English

Everton get smoked by West Ham tomorrow 4 or 5-0
David Moyes doing his old club a favour in saving them
Everton then beat Tottenham comprehensively 4-1 in their best game all season on the final day
Same BS as the Leicester title season. We've seen the extra incentive from other clubs before
English

@Spurspapers Don’t worry. It’ll be more points you get relegated by than that. 👍🏻
