No one in the media, no journo, can point to a report, stat, or fact that proves their throw away ideologically line that inflation is up, due to govt spending. Everyone knows, it's driven by sky rocking transport costs as fuel prices surge amid Trumps war on Iran. Every nation on earth is experiencing rapid increase to inflation; did Albo cause the UK inflation increase too? You dipshits.
Aus Integrity@QBCCIntegrity

No Chalmers *INSERT EXCUSE* didn’t cause the rates to go up. It has been LABORS reckless spending for the last 14 interest rate rises.

First Jim Chalmers blamed Scott Morrison for inflation, then he blamed us for inflation. Now, he’s blaming the Middle East for inflation. Jim, has it ever occurred to you that maybe you’re to blame to inflation? 16 rate rises since you took office.

Socialist Albanese is about to launch an economic blitz on hard working and older Australians: Cutting out private health rebate. Cutting negative gearing. Increasing capital gains tax property & shares. Destroying family trusts. It’s a disgrace, nobody voted for this, they lied

“Getting the right immigrants is actually part of the solution” At least this is the claim that the Minister for Home Affairs, Tony Burke made in a recent interview. These comments come amidst the news that India is now Australia’s largest source of overseas migrants, overtaking England for the first time in history. Mass non-European immigration is continually heralded by politicians like Burke as one of Australia’s greatest virtues, yet at no point have Australians voted for mass-migration. These dramatic demographic shifts demand a serious conversation. Link for article in comments below.

South Australians who breach fuel‑rationing laws would face an on-the-spot fine under strengthened emergency powers the Malinauskas Government will introduce to Parliament this week. The laws enable on‑the‑spot fines for people who breach rationing rules, allow penalties to be issued to the owners of vehicles used in a breach, and permit the seizure of fuel obtained unlawfully. The updated legislation will also allow courts to impose imprisonment of up to three years in cases where workers in the petroleum supply chain — including service station console operators and tanker drivers — are assaulted, threatened or intimidated during an emergency. These measures form part of the Petroleum Products Regulation (Emergencies and Other Matters) Amendment Bill 2026, which strengthens the state’s ability to declare and maintain a liquid fuel emergency for extended periods if required. Premier Peter Malinauskas said the Government was acting to ensure South Australia is prepared for every potential scenario. Under the current 30‑year‑old legislation, rationing can only be imposed for seven days at a time, with a maximum of 28 days without parliamentary approval. The new laws would allow the Governor to declare an initial rationing period of up to 90 days, with the ability to extend for further 90‑day periods as needed.

Who else is fed up with people carping on about pensioners owning all the houses and sitting on large savings? Pensioners have paid a mortgage for 35 years so yes, they own their houses. They have to live on their savings for the rest of their lives. It's not rocket science.

@ellymelly There is 7 million home owners in Australia,of that 35% have mortgages . That is 2450000 households who are being punished for bloated Govco economic mismanagement. 2.5 million out of 27 million in the country..

Think about it. Interest rates are rising because of government spending. Mortgage holders are being forced to sell. And now, if Labor gets their way, home-sellers will experience HIGHER TAXES on the sale of a property they didn't want to sell because the government screwed up. This, Labor tells us, addresses 'intergenerational unfairness'.

@aussiewongm There is two sides to this coin, one is it's no big deal, the other is , it's a public space not owned by the car owner. Therefore he or she has no rights in installing a permanent fixture there .

South Africa is repeating the mistakes of Rhodesia / Zimbabwe. The European population built the country, but was forced out by external pressure. The African population took control, but lacked the ability to maintain the 1st world infrastructure. Now they fight over the scraps of the decaying country.

A vote for One Nation is a vote to keep Labor in power. In Victoria, a vote for One Nation is a vote for Jacinta Allan. Federally, a vote for One Nation is a vote for Anthony Albanese. Change only comes one way: vote Liberal!

#BREAKING Just when you’ve thought you’ve got ahead by working hard enough to buy an investment property, Anthony Albanese is going to take it all away in tax to pay for his 3,500 a day immigrants. Anthony Albanese claims he has a mandate for “ambitious” negative gearing and capital gains tax reforms and will not send voters back to the polls to secure the changes. If you couldn’t hate this bloke enough.

Young people should be reminded that their parents’ assets are their future inheritance. Every cent the government takes off the older generation, is a cent stolen from their children and grandchildren. Inter-generational wealth is the backbone of a free society in which each generation helps the next to climb higher. This is not possible in a society where the government holds people down by resetting the game to zero. Allowing the government to redistribute private wealth creates intergenerational dependency.
