Since President Trump is a broken record on this ridiculous statement, I feel compelled to be a broken record on the truth: There is no Iranian nuclear weapon, there is no Iranian nuclear weapon *program*, and there hasn’t been since 2003. Therefore if that’s all we have to do to get the war over with, mission accomplished! But then we have thorny issues for President Trump: * what about the toll system Iran has already set up? * What about its long range missile and drone programs, which have accelerated and advanced since the war began? * What about Iranian’s proxy allies in the region, that are still viable to this day? * And what about the 60% enriched nuclear material? If President Trump claims he is close to negotiated end on those, when Iranians claim that they are not gonna submit on any of those terms, than either President Trump is lying or the Iranian side is lying. Probably we will find out pretty soon who’s telling the truth, but History being a guide, don’t put your money on President Trump.

Chinese semiconductors are now so advanced that the PRC felt confident enough to ban US advanced Nvidia microchips from China. It did so while Trump was still in Beijing claiming he had reached a landmark trade agreement with China including other claimed Chinese pledges virtually all of which have since been revealed to be false. This was a humilating rebuke to Trump who had offered to export the chips to ten Chinese companies.

Our nation was built by immigrants and sustained by the rule of law. Replacing Hart-Celler with a purely merit-based system protects workers, but completely shutting down family reunification hurts communities. We need secure borders and smart, humane pathways.

Repeal Hart-Celler. Shut down immigration, and only allow immigrants when America needs them. Among those newcomers, all must fit the mold.
