@AlanBurton12 The biggest cost with less is the new tanker/shoe /dribble bar and the higher horse power tractor to pull it. Diesel is the smallest cost when those are incurred

Should the use of splash plates be allowed again due the crazy prices of diesel at the moment, and a splash is probably more environmentally friendly considering it does not burn as much diesel

Anyone have a paddock/field that cows just won’t eat …reseeded this paddock last April ..indexes good ,ph fine not pumped with slurry or chemical fert .cows don’t milk well on it either

@MichaelG9540 3 k slurry in February Mike and got 25 units urea/sulphur early march …no more chemical n for year just slurry whilst there then chemical p and k …think it needs n in spring to wake it up
