She's a slightly worried soul who came into kennels with a nasty flea allergy which has responded well to veterinary treatment. It has become clear to staff that although someone has put in the time and effort to teach Mo sit, paw and down (she doesn't always do it in the right order), sudden movements make her flinch and she becomes skittish - as if she's expecting to be hit. Once she bonds with you she is very happy to see you (especially if you happen to have some chicken) and she will let you touch her all over. She's shown no aggression towards large dogs, but she did respond in kind to a terrier that was barking and snapping at her, but she was not the instigator. It's on going greed and irresponsible ownership? 1 APPEAL FOR INFORMATION, PUPPY DUMPED IN A BLACK BIN BAG, #ABERDARE #WALES #UK 💔 July 2026 2 Abandoned Mother Dog And Puppies Discovered In Crate July 2026 A distressing discovery was made last night in Bridgend, as a female Jack Russell terrier and her four puppies were found abandoned in a lane in Kenfig Hill. The vulnerable family of dogs had been left completely confined together inside a single crate. Animal welfare staff estimate the puppies to be around five months old. All five dogs are currently suffering from skin conditions that require immediate veterinary treatment. Fortunately, the animals are now safe in rescue care and are receiving the medical attention they desperately need. Rescuers are deeply concerned about the callous manner in which the animals were discarded and fear for the welfare of any other pets that might still be in the care of the same owner. An urgent appeal for information has been launched to find those responsible. Anyone who has any knowledge regarding the dogs or the incident is urged to contact the rescue centre directly on 01443 226659. Hi everyone, I just wanted to thank everyone for recent donations and shares and to apologise for the lack of responses over the last couple of weeks. I run this account single handed and I am currently literally single handed as I have broken my shoulder in a fall 2 weeks ago, which ended up with a 3 day hospitalstay If, like me, you didn't know, a broken shoulder is not put in a cast but just a sling and you are told to try and keep the arm moving! Yes, it hurts a lot. Even holding my phone to post this is very uncomfortable..hence I haven't been on here lately. Thank you all for your continued support xx
