APC people will defend the government claiming Lasisi’s admissions should be withdrawn while ignoring the fact that 700k is too much. Yet, these people are online begging for money to buy laptop for their sons in schools but they are only entitled to 5k owo omo. I wonder how people suffer this much, yet don’t want liberty from what impoverished them for peanuts 🤦
Lasisi 🇬🇧@La3i3i

It’s actually 700k not 750k.

Looking at Left wingers again that are the 1v1 monsters that we need just reminds me of who we've got at home. His dribbling ability is one of the best we've got on both wings and I just need him back and locked in for the start of next season. It's not even the time to consider giving up on him. No option. Too much talent here.

There were performances vs LFC in 2018 and Bayern in 2021 amongst others, which made your jaw drop but his performances in the 5 games of those last 3 Champions League exits to Man City, Real Madrid & Bayern from 2021-2023 definitely influenced me on how high to rank Neymar. Didn’t just lose those games but he was downright awful. He also wasn’t particularly good in the 2020 final. Dribbles that didn’t lead to anything and lacked intensity at specific moments. Modrić running the whole length of the pitch past him for the goal in that 2022 exit particularly took the biscuit. Can’t go along with the commonly held opinion that he is the unanimous 3rd best player of the 21st century because of this.

I went to buy my hair cream this evening at a salon close to my house. When I got there, their madam wasn’t around, so I asked the girl to give me the hair cream I normally buy from them. When I wanted to transfer the money, I asked, “How much?” She replied, “₦2,500.” I said, “But last month, I bought it for ₦1,500.” She said the price had gone up. I then told her to call her madam. After speaking to her, she said it was ₦2,000. I just transferred the money and left. Honestly, this country is frustrating. You can buy something today, go back next week to buy the same thing, and the price has gone up. So, where are we going exactly?

@Mcconnor8 @CFCDaily Yeah I’m sure Enzo and Palmer will be fine with dropping salary when they’ve been forced to play under their woefully under qualified 2nd manager this season

Failure to qualify for the UCL would result in players missing out on their lucrative bonuses. Some sources believe that could present a significant problem, given the project has been built around a wage structure that puts players on lower basic salaries than many of their contemporaries at rival clubs, but with big performance-related incentives. @jonallenpt Stop justify everything would be a good start. The team has not improved and are battling for Top 4 and CL again. There is not much difference between Jackson and Madueke. You add to them not remove then then replace with similar output.

Not quite true We signed Joao Pedro - a clear improvement We added Estevao - another clear improvement We added depth at midfield with Santos and Essugo The problem has been twofold - CB and injury Fix that and things change radically

We were 1 defeat from 7th place last season and failed to improve the squad over the summer. How is anyone surprised we’re in the same boat again this season with a worse manager and having to play actual football teams unlike the Conference.

The guy who thinks he’s Neymar but isn’t is Neto. Madueke and Jackson had a great relationship with Palmer. Neto and Palmer look like they’re playing with each other for the first time every game. Madueke and Garnacho understand their strengths better. And on the they want to leave point. They didn’t at the start of the summer, Chelsea very clearly drove them to it and pushed the narrative themselves. They very easily could’ve stayed if Chelsea wanted them to.

The Chelsea critisicm is a strange one, maybe it's just the social media bubble, although the fans in the stadium are making their displeasure known. They are where I expect them to be with the squad they have. They will have strong runs in form, followed by unexpected losses. Competing against top teams in one-off games but not over a sustained period. Winning trophies becomes a habit, and it's one which the Chelsea fans like and have become accustomed to. Abramovich created a 'win now' culture and backed it up when going after the top players and management. Realistically, though, with this squad and the recruitment model, they are exactly where I would expect them to be in the PL (competing for CL) and in the Champions League (knockout qualifiers). The PSG defeat highlights this. In Rosenior, they have a manager who will go toe-to-toe against any team. A strategy that Chelsea fans want to see, but the truth is, they will lose these games nine times out of ten, due to the quality on the pitch. TLDR - This model is not built to win now. The club's and fans' expectations are not supported by a matched model.

Does anyone even believe in Newcastle United getting a result against Barcelona tonight? They could be following Chelsea, City and Spurs out of the competition. 🤔 That's 4 out of 5 Premier League team potentially out in one round. This season is dark for Premier League teams in the Champions League.

@Natureryme1 @Blue_Footy Jackson joined a team that finished 10th and score 14 npg in his first epl season while playing with fellow new comers but you’re making excuse for a £75m signing who joined a structure that just won the league. What’s the rationality behind your statement?

@MichaelSim25839 @oitsile92 @InvertTheWing Nah, you all read like children. me saying "Enzo papers over the cracks with G+A" does not mean G+A is a "negative" it means it papers over his deficiencies. that's too big a word for you, so I'll just let you go find an adult to read it for you.

I mean, he is leaving anyway, so I will say it, even if I get attacked for it. Enzo Fernandez is by far the most overrated player in the squad. He is an absolute liability OOP, and part of the reason Caicedo has dropped off so significantly the past few months. Leaves him tasked with far too much to do, and has finally had fatigue catch up to him. Most times doesn't impact the game, but will somehow manage to get a GA that masks his mediocre performance.
Pys@CFCPys

🚨 Sources say Enzo Fernandez would be open to a move to Spain should the right offer materialise. (@JacobsBen) #CFC

Imagining qualifying for the UCL after 3 years and your marquee LW signings are Garnacho from man utd and Gittens🤣🤣🤣 Blame the players tho, they’ll sell them this summer we will celebrate them for being good at selling, buy another mid, same result sell again and again and again Blame the players not the owners or directors, no single good Lw or CB signing in 4 years, not 1, but blame the players🤣🤣🤣

Some people argue that Rogers and Anderson won't improve our midfield. They won't only improve it, they will complete it. OOP will be solved too. I don't like arguing with fans who only think about names not the right profile. If we can't get £150m for Enzo, no need to sell but anyone pays it, then I won't hesitate to use it on Rogers and Anderson. It will be a upgrade. Selling players isn't such a bad thing only if you use the money well to upgrade your team. Like Liverpool did with Coutinho. But it doesn't mean we will ignore the major issues which is the defence.

This happens because players are encouraged to take risks with the passes and movements. We used to say that Maresca was slow and passive. This is why. To avoid unnecessary turnover in midfield and get caught. Our poor counter-press was the main problem with this. If you look at the running stats or distance covered in the Premier League, we are usually below top 10. The intensity of our game is very inconsistent and it's down to the type of players we have. Maresca was actually very economical about how he set us to play. But he was criticised heavily for it.
