BREAKING: Gold extends gains to a record $4,850/oz, now up +$260 in 48 hours. We are all witnessing history right now.

It’s been reported that the U.S. Hemp Roundtable is trying to carve out an exception for low milligram beverages in the federal hemp ban. We’ve seen similar things from beverage manufacturers in Texas, who also tried to cut a similar deal in the midst of SB3 this past year. One thing is clear, that you need to be absolutely sure about who your advocacy group really represents in this battle!

@cantripguy Why would they come out of the gate with a 5 mg baseline? Their goal obviously isn’t to negotiate. It’s too capitulate and roll up. It’s pretty obvious.

I’ll introduce a bill to let state hemp laws override the new federal ban. The Constitution already puts these powers with the states, but Washington ignored that. Kentucky regulates hemp responsibly—with age limits, serving sizes, and anti-fraud rules. Washington erased all of it with one blanket ban. Kentuckians believe adults should make their own choices. Federal law should too.
