I’m not that active on X, having my last days to relax a bit in Madrid, back from China. I’ll go back to my usual posting schedule in 2 days. Also the market started the year with the right foot! 2026 here we go 📈

Ok, we need a modern competitor for Interactive Brokers in Germany. Open field. 10x improvements will be super easy. 100x possible. Do I have to try this myself?

You're constantly switching between companies, meetings, and contexts. No admin support to keep track of it all. What if you could just speak your thoughts and get organized notes instantly? Here's what just became possible 👇

@V_Duchaine Thanks for the "alert". Is a BTC post incoming for WU subscribers? Is seems to have closed as described, but it looks a litte double toppy now. So, your analysis will be appreciated as always.

If BTC breaks out (and close above) of this triangle today, while our MLDP Z-Score model remains at just 1.2 standard deviations, it could set the stage for an epic run.

I've stopped being friends with a lot of people over the last 2 years and it came down to asking myself “do I like who I am around them?” and "do I like how I feel once I leave them?" and it changed everything.

@mwebster1971 @IBDinvestors @marketsurge @IBD_JNielsen Not a member yet, but I really appreciate the video and I very much appreciate that you have the balls to sit in cash and put on no trades. That is hard as a trader but it must be super hard if you have a service to sell.

If you find yourself wishing you sold some Bitcoin at $96K one moment and then being upset you didn't buy at $78K the next moment... That's your sign that you need a better plan. Volatility makes people react emotionally and against their best interests. Whether you're stack-only through the whole cycle, aggressively buying dips, or strategically rebalancing on pumps... You need to know what you want, make your plan, and execute it faithfully. Truthfully I'm still not getting my hopes up short term here. If Saylor fat-fingering a $2 billion buy and Abu Dhabi announcing sovereign wealth fund purchases can't push us higher... I'm skeptical that a rehashed Trump announcement will either. I'd rather set my expectations low and be pleasantly surprised than expect new highs and be disappointed. But given the emerging geo-political changes, I don't know that I've ever been more bullish long-term. Global investors still barely have a clue how much they need scarce neutral reserve assets. The whole world is still max-long Nasdaq, SPY, and other very non-neutral assets. As the global order as we know it fractures, much of that capital will be seeking a neutral home. Bitcoin holders are perfectly positioned. As usual, your job is to stay solvent and enjoy life 🫡

@Scot1andT Thanks for the challenge. I think I forgot about day 2 🙈 So when it comes up from below on day 2 there will either be a pivot or the opening range low to use for the stop. Thinking in the right direction now?

Let’s do this Socratic method: where would you place the stop and why?
Michael Korb@Michael_Korb

@Scot1andT Thanks for sharing and answering a lot of questions. One more, if I may: Where do you set the (first) stop if the stock comes up from a gap down and you buy at the lower line? I can only think of the low of day 1 as a natural level.

Let's plan out a trade because going through an example, I can answer a lot of the questions I get. Q. Why $DOCS? A. look at a chart and it should be self-explanatory. Q. Isn't up too much, how do you know it's not going to fade? A. I don't that's why I'll use a fishhook? Q. What's a fishhook? A. It's my setup to trade earnings gaps. The thought process is that if a stock can hold a gap and push through the consolidation point on the first day there's demand that will take it much higher. See PEAD.. Post Earnings Announcement Drift . Q. What if it gaps up from here? A. Then we don't buy it? Q. What if it gaps down? A. Then it doesn't trigger and we don't buy it. Q. What's the ideal scenario A. It gaps down a bit, and then immediately recovers. Depending on the gap down, there are two levels I'd be interested in. -- see the lines on the 10-minute chart. - I'd start it at the first one and add to the second. If the second buy is made then the stop is at the first line. Q. how much do you buy. You can go large on this setup since risk is tight. What does 1-2% of your account look like - easy math 100k acct. you can risk 1-2k on the trade. let's say I get it at 79.60 stops at 78. That means I could buy upwards of 1000 shares or 70% equity, (perhaps more if we split buys). 1.6% equity risk. Q. What do you want to see after you buy it ? A. Ideally a big bar through and then a steady building above . One quick spike is dangerous as it invites reversals so - and If I see that my stop is immediately at the money. A failed fishhook is a dangerous trade as there's a lot of liquidity gap below once you get into a gap. Q. Where to you take profits? A. going to depend how it trades. If there's a clean pivot above, that's a trim level. a greater than 10% move in a day also good idea to trim a bit. Also consider market conditions. If we were just launching off a bottom give it more room. Q. Is this financial advice A. No.

Seeing some umming and erring about taking signals with these tariffs. 1. Have confidence that your strategy will exit longs if the longer term trend changes 2. Near term performance is random. What matters is the long-term application of the strategy 3. Tariffs have been and gone before. Their impact should already be in your backtest. 4. If you override your proven strategy, and that turns out to be a better choice this time around, chances are you'll continue to override the strategy in the future - which invalidates the need to have a proven strategy in the first place 5. If you are umming and erring it's more likely you're thinking money ahead of the process.

Where are you Stack?! I had a lot of people messaging me over the past week. I was fighting the flu, and then decided to turn it into an extended break from X. Felt good. Isn't it great that we can put our money into Bitcoin and tune out the world for a while? It's the most predictable and boring asset in the world, and that's a great thing. The world needs that. I enjoy posting on here and sharing perspectives for now... But one day I will disappear for good. You'll still find me in the Alps in the winter and [redacted] in the summer. But I won't be glued to a screen. Sometimes I ask myself: Are you just going to keep scrolling and posting every day until you die? The answer is no. Sometime between BTC $500K - $1 million, Stack Hodler will be a figment of your imagination. By then my work here will be done. Many of you will be very wealthy. And we'll be seeing each other on the slopes 🫡

@V_Duchaine Now that the triangle has been deepseeked, do we have targets for BTD before the seemingly inevitable breakout? Or has the dip already happened?

A very low realized volatility at the end of a symmetrical triangle for Bitcoin this weekend. If I were Bitcoin, I’d break out to a new ATH in the next 48 hours.

After several years with TradingView and MarketSurge, I decided to pull the trigger on the @Deepvue Black Friday sale. So far I'm really liking it. One question though... is there any way to globally change the color theme from pink and blue? 😀 @nickschmidt @RichardMoglen
