FYI: "Balls to the wall" or "balls out" is not a vulgar phrase. It refers to the "balls" of a centrifugal governor on a steam engine, which, when the engine is really cranking, are flying straight out. I've also heard that it can refer to old aircraft throttles as well, which had a "ball" on top.
