Delighted to announce Josh Morris into the Catchup Lowland League Hall of Fame. Josh began his career as a youth player at Edinburgh United, winning the very first Scottish Youth FA Challenge Cup, and becoming one of the youngest goal scorers at Junior level. He would later sign with Tynecastle, before moving into league football with Berwick Rangers. Despite making a number of appearances for the club over the course of two seasons, Josh found it difficult to break into the starting line-up at a young age. In 2014, he would move to Lowland League club, Vale of Leithen, before moving back to the Juniors, a season later, with Kelty Hearts, for a short stint. A loan spell with Hawick Royal Albert would follow, with Josh finishing the season as top scorer in the East of Scotland. Hawick would be invited into the Lowland League for the 2016-17 season and Josh would move to the club permanently. Hawick would go on to finish their first season in 14th, however, Josh would score more than 30 goals over the campaign, including a hattrick in 3-2 win against former side Berwick Rangers in the Scottish Cup, to reach the third round. He would later be named in the Scottish Cup Team of the Year 2016/17, scoring 7 goals in the competition. Josh would move to Cowdenbeath in 2017, before returning to play in the Lowland League with Whitehill Welfare, and later, Gala Fairydean Rovers, respectfully. He would move to Hill of Beath Hawthorn in 2018, before signing with Civil Service Strollers ahead of the 2019-20 season. He would wind down his playing career with another Fife club, Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts, in the East of Scotland, before retiring from the game. Josh remains passionate about the sport after hanging up his boots, becoming a FIFA Licensed Football Agent with SEG Football - one of the largest football talent agencies in the world.
