In response to statements of the Arab group and the representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran @UN, I called out their #Palestinianism.
When the truth means nothing, the Palestinians and their supporters shine.

This day (March 26) in 1964, Egyptian President Nasser told the UAR National Assembly: “The danger of Israel lies in the very existence of Israel as it is in the present and in what she represents.”
No fig leaf about “occupation,” no UN resolutions, no “human rights” jargon—just raw, unvarnished, exterminationist truth. The Jewish state’s "crime" was existing.
Three years later, in 1967, Nasser attempted to carry out this planned genocide by gathering the armies of Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, and others for what they openly called the final solution to the “Zionist problem.”
PLO founder Ahmad al-Shuqayri was even more direct: “We shall destroy Israel and its inhabitants… and as for the survivors—if there are any—the boats are ready to deport them.”
Iraqi President Abdul Rahman Arif promised Arab forces would “remove Israel from the map” and meet in Tel Aviv.
The rhetoric wasn’t subtle. It was genocidal - ACTUALLY genocidal.
What happened next is history’s blunt rebuttal: tiny Israel, outnumbered and surrounded, destroyed the combined Arab air forces in hours and ended the war in six days.
Nearly 60 years later, it’s almost refreshing to remember how openly these "anti-Zionists" once said the quiet part out loud. Now we hear the same eliminationist goal, but in thinly veiled language of “human rights” or so-called “resistance.”
When Nasser made clear the problem was Israel's very existence - in 1964 - he wasn't talking about "67 borders." After all, Egypt was occupying the Gaza Strip and Jordan had illegally annexed the entire "West Bank."
Just as it was at modern Israel's inception in 1948, it remains today: the problem to so-called "anti-Zionists" is and always has been Israel's very existence.

Iranian proxies in Gaza and Lebanon use the same playbook:
1. Target sensitive sites (schools, hospitals, religious buildings, etc.)
2. Store weapons there
3. Launch attacks from them
4. Blame Israel
This isn’t a bug. It’s a feature.

Since March 2nd, Hezbollah has indiscriminately fired over 3,500 missiles, drones and UAVs at Israel. Only yesterday, 27 year old Nuriel Dubin was murdered by a Hezbollah missile strike. I call on the UN Security Council to unequivocally condemn Hezbollah and designate the Iranian terror proxy as a terrorist organization.

If you ignore it, you normalize it.
26 sirens
On average: a siren every 21 minutes
Anyone who truly values human life cannot speak about the suffering of Lebanese civilians while ignoring the suffering of more than a million residents in northern Israel. And yet, in most discussions, the hardship endured by Israeli civilians is completely overlooked.
Hezbollah started this war, and Hezbollah is the one firing relentlessly and indiscriminately at Israeli population centers with the clear intent to kill civilians.
Israeli lives matter too.
Israel not only has the right, it has the duty, to defend its people from these attacks.
This is what an ordinary night looks like for one million Israeli civilians, a constant barrage of fire from Lebanon, aimed deliberately at killing them.
And this is only the summary of last night.

As usual @destandaard doesn’t miss an opportunity to twist reality and incite hate
“Holiday or not, Israel bars Muslims from Temple Mount “for safety”.
For those interested in facts, here are some:
1. Western wall is closed too.
2. Jews didnt celebrate Purim for the same reason. Weddings are also cancelled
3. 100 missiles alarms in Jerusalem
since the beginning of the war. 9 missile barrages on Israel SINCE THIS MORNING
4. Missile debris fell last week in Temple Mount. Missile debris kills. This may come as a shock to @destandaard but missiles debris can kill Muslims too, even Palestinians.
Ask the family of the 4 Palestinian women who were killed yesterday.
Somehow I am also quite sure that if an Iranian missile would have hit a full Mount Temple and kill dozens, De Standaard headlines would still find a way to blame Israel.

The European Union suffers from willful blindness.
In its statement, the EU shows blindness to the suffering of northern Israel’s residents who, on March 2nd - just as on October 8th, 2023 - were attacked unprovoked from Lebanese territory by Hezbollah.
It is blind to the fact that those same Israelis have already endured more than 2,000 attacks from Hezbollah with missiles, rockets, and drones. These are the same Israelis who were forced to abandon their homes for more than a year due to Hezbollah’s attacks.
It is blind to the unwillingness of the Lebanese government to disarm Hezbollah as required or to take any meaningful measures against Hezbollah, let alone to remove its ministers from the cabinet.
And the European Union goes mute when it refrains from calling on the Lebanese government to act to stop Hezbollah’s attacks on Israelis.
The European Union is willfully blind and mute when it comes to Israel.

The EU is deeply concerned about the ongoing Israeli offensive in Lebanon. Civilians are paying the highest price also in terms of casualties. Read our full statement: link.europa.eu/T83HK7

An Iranian missile exploded over Jerusalem’s Old City. Its fragments fell on the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Armenian Patriarchate, the Jewish Quarter and on the Temple Mount near the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Iranian regime is firing missiles toward Jerusalem’s holy sites, endangering Jews, Muslims, and Christians alike.
Israel, meanwhile, acts to protect worshippers of all faiths in its capital city.

Remarkable to hear @UNOCHA & @UNReliefChief give an entire briefing to the #SecurityCouncil on Lebanon’s humanitarian situation while being among the only speakers to ignore the large yellow elephant in the room that caused this situation: the terrorist organization Hezbollah.

The Iranian regime is firing missiles at Jerusalem, Israel's capital.
One of them struck a few hundred meters from the Old City, the Western Wall, Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.
Protecting lives & worshippers' safety comes first. That is why prayer at all holy sites has been temporarily suspended.
