My mom came to stay with us for a few days this week. She washed and folded baskets upon baskets of laundry. She helped get meals in the oven and served afternoon snacks. She read books and changed diapers. She held babies, and even watched the kids one evening so we could have a belated Valentine’s Day date. We sipped tea and chatted about heart things. She’s always been a servant. But the older I get, the things she might view as “small” acts are anything but small to me. And I pray I will be a fraction of the blessing to my own children when they’re grown that she’s been to me in my adult years.

@FortWayneCPA I like Quest Protein Powder. You can add the vanilla into coffee, oatmeal, pancakes, yogurt, etc. Plus I love the salted caramel!

We're about to buy a vehicle to replace my wife's car because it doesn't fit three car seats easily. After watching car prices closely over the last 4 months, I've noticed that used cars that are 2-3 years old still cost as much as their brand new model counterparts. It's cars with 50k+ miles and are >5 years old where you notice the prices come down quite a bit. We want a vehicle that will go 10 years without worrying about doing a lot of repair/maintenance work, so we're leaning towards a newer vehicle. A van specifically. Dealerships we've talked to have zero give when it comes to their new vehicle prices because the demand is so healthy in my area. Does anybody have any tips for buying a vehicle from a dealership? I bought a 2006 Crown Vic Interceptor 10 years ago from an auction site because I was sick of interacting with the car salesmen.

@MikeSyl36625988 We’ve done 4 Viking river cruises & absolutely love them! They are all inclusive- tours in each city/stop, very nice,air conditioned buses, handing out water bottles or umbrellas when needed, free beer and wine at meals. We did the Rhine, Danube, Russia and Portugal to Spain.

I am looking for thoughts from people who have been on a Viking River Cruise. My wife and I were going to spend our 25th anniversary, 5/21/20, in Vienna. We were going to spend a couple of weeks in Europe and then Covid hit. We are pretty sure we will spend our 30th anniversary in that area.
