@informaleconomy Not sure here about the attribution of women “not valuing” their work bec they don’t assign job titles to it. Observationally I wld say women value their labour, measured otherwise, eg survival of their children. That this is not “counted” #marilynwaring is the “value” problem

Need to raise consciousness? Often women do not see themselves as workers, even while shouldering a significant share of household economic activities. Female agricultural workers on family land often identify themselves as housewives, though they do most nonharvesting activities
