Getting simple login race conditions on Claude Code is honestly might blowing. Akin to the greatest security company on earth leaving the main building front door open

It's remarkable how much of my work is completely automated w/ AI, and yet, I still am necessary. The amount of time I personally have to spend working just isn't going down. Instead, the leverage of my own time is going up. Every second I spend not working becomes more painful

It’s unbelievable. Go back home to my area in County Down and you have 6/7 options of: - unbelievable coffee - avocado toast - the best pastries/traybakes you could imagine The book ‘the rational optimist’ hits the nail on the head here. Although there’s always doomsdayers, never been a better time to be living than right now

There’s a lot of discussion in these parts about all the things that are degrading (public safety, disorder, architecture, institutions, …), but it is remarkable how much better food has gotten over the course of my lifetime. I was recently traveling in the UK, and even in small towns, the restaurants were consistently great. (I particularly recommend Isla in Durham.) Ireland has similarly improved by leaps and bounds. The US is very good these days. Has there ever been a better time to eat?

@justinskycak Easier said than done?! How much functionality can I really add to my weather app?! (Why is it always a weather app as boilerplate??!! 😂😂😂)

Choose projects that stack. You want your work this year to be the foundation for something 10x bigger next year.

@adisingh 🎯 🎯 Knowing what goes on under the hood whilst harnessing the speed of these code tools is such a differentiator. All comes back to rule #1 though: build something that adds customer value

Gstack by @garrytan has made me 10x faster and honestly better in Claude Code. We are massively underestimating how good this is for YC. He turned a config file into a brand strategy. And now it’s becoming the default way for all companies to set up their terminal.

I'm going to rile up the trolls with this right now but I am working on 3 different big projects simultaneously across 15 @conductor_build sessions all the time. In the last 7 days I'm averaging 17k lines of code per day, 35% tests, all thanks to gstack. (All mornings/nights/weekends on top of my real job at YC) I ran /retro (from gstack) on all three projects and this is what came back:

HYROX gets a lot of hate. Fair enough But one thing I like about it is the format Every race is the same Like a half marathon. A full marathon. A triathlon etc You can actually train for it You can improve your time You can measure progress CrossFit comps on the other hand Totally random lol Could be a 1RM snatch Could be 100 handstand push-ups Could be a 5km run Half the time it feels like the workout was pulled out of a hat
