The Prime Minister is the one who chose to abandon international law over the attack on Venezuela in order to appease Donald Trump. Other ministers are simply following his script. So the Prime Minister himself should come to Parliament today to explain that appalling decision.

I thought I couldn't detest Starmer more. I was wrong. I voted Labour all my life. Last time was 2019. Never again. Starmer let Israel break international law and now USA. Both times he folded like a cheap deckchair. Let's hope his deckchair is about to be swept away.

The absurdity of the machine gun charges underlines just what a farce this entire operation is. The allegations that Maduro was running a narco-trafficking empire are equally fabricated. This is is about seizing Venezuela's oil and rare earth minerals. America, a country awash in guns that can't seem to make it through a week without another mass shooting, just invaded another country, kidnapped their leader, and is now trying to try and imprison him for gun charges. When you listen to the prevarication of Keir Starmer and his ministers on a basic point of international law we need to be ruthlessly honest and recognise that effectively our country has been rendered up as a Trump colony.
