@paulob16 A great thread Paul. With your background you know the pitfalls that are there in city clubs. Is this an economic issue where more ‘affluent’ clubs are not suffering the same problems or is too simplistic to put it down to economics?

Considering the history of Glen Rovers and their illustrious past players, the fact they’ve been relegated, a thought might now be spared for the clubs that are dying amidst a gentrification of Gaelic Games and the continued decline of GAA in the urban centres
