@iancleverly I could talk about the brilliance of the books and the TV series for hours.
Gary Oldman was never my Jackson Lamb - buy he absolutely is now.
And as for Catheribe Standish...

@tom_tomrayner @C2023A3 Looks like there'll be a very short window just after 7 when it'll be above the horizon and it may just dark enough to see it. It should have a tail sticking straight upwards

English

@MickyLachmann @C2023A3 Ahh. It was more like 8.30pm actually. I knew I should have gone earlier. Cheers.
English

@iancleverly I've just written a new series proposal that uses delve twice in the first 3 paragraphs. I think I might chuck in a couple more as well

@avivaplc So why have you just put my home insurance up by 50% - the notification arriving so late I don't have any time to contest it?
Pure and simple price-gouging.

We’ve had an excellent first half of 2024. We have generated growth right across Aviva.
We continue to benefit from the balanced and diversified business we have built and are confident about the rest of 2024 and beyond.

@chrislintott @robmliddell @esa @ESA_Rosetta My fond memories are of sitting in an edit suite in the dead of night with Tracy Joss and a bottle of wine and thinking that by morning we'd probably have a programme
English

@robmliddell @esa @ESA_Rosetta Proper science telly! I have a fond memory of constructing a model of the nucleus from cocktail sticks late in the hotel bar as Maggie and I tried to get our heads round the geometry
English

Hard to believe it’s a decade since @esa’s @ESA_Rosetta arrived at its comet. The trilogy of films we made for #skyatnight are my favourite - amazing access to a team who trusted us, & a very hard working BBC team who finished the show about an hour before broadcast.

The link between motor neurone disease and Rugby deserves greater investigation.
Doddie Weir
Rob Burrow
and now Norm Hewitt.
Progressive Rugby@ProgressiveRug
All Blacks hooker Norm Hewitt, 55, has died from motor neurone disease. Hewitt won 23 All Black caps and played almost 300 club games during a 13 year elite level playing career. His standoff with Richard Cockerill is iconic. Our thoughts are with his family and friends ❤️

It’s a shame that it’s got to this place for many ppl. Facing a tough time myself, first 4 months of 2024 were a write-off, had 6 weeks on a feature but back to nothing now
Have exhausted every possible contact but living on the edge of a cliff ATM. Not sure what to do next

🧵 Posting this in the hope it helps someone feel less isolated. I am genuinely concerned I will need to leave the industry at the end of the year. Although post production has work at the moment, from September, there’s little on the horizon currently for me and many others.

Really enjoying this. Fantastic account of the Challenger disaster. If you have any interest in space exploration you should read it. Paging: @dallascampbell @chrislintott @ProfBrianCox @Kevin_Fong @AdamRutherford

Awful performance from @TfL tonight.
Turfing hundreds of people off the overground at Canada water with no obvious way to get home and no help. Woeful lack of leadership
English

@AdamRutherford No 24. Harmison to Clark. Edgbaston '05.
Probably the only slower ball he ever bowled.
Greatest delivery evs!
