My opinion on Portugal. Roberto Martinez will have blood on his hands if Portugal exits the World Cup early. Secondly, the big Portuguese players did not step up. I’m trying to make excuse for Vitinha, maybe because he’s had a long season. He did not step up. Bruno did not step up. Joao Neves was their best player today, and he also put them ahead. Ronaldo had two good chances but fumbled it, overall I can’t blame him much because the whole team was not good. I understand the coach leaving him on because they needed a goal. @mercyl4s Horrible game plan. This was the same plan they had in the last World Cup. Play wide and cross, cross, cross and hope to get a header in. No decisive runs by the midfield trio or Ronaldo. Smh. If this is how they’re going to play the entire tournament then might as well go home
